Kate's low-key day was a far cry from what was going on with Jon Gosselin this weekend. He reported to cops that his New York apartment had been burglarized and, without using her name publicly, has accused his ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman of the crime. Hailey isn't taking the accusations lying down. She has her own attorneys representing her and is making her own accusations against Jon.
Jon Gosselin's NYC Apartment Ransacked: People.com
Jon Gosselin returned to New York after spending Christmas in Pennsylvania with his eight children to discover his apartment had been burglarized. "[He] called me this afternoon . . . when he entered his apartment in Manhattan and was horrified, disheartened and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator," Gosselin's lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said in a statement Saturday. "Jon immediately contacted me and facilitated the able assistance of the New York City Police Department who immediately dispatched an experienced detective to Jon’s apartment." According to Heller, Gosselin, 32, discovered a note that was "speared" into his wooden dresser. Heller also says that Gosselin's television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game and dishes, pots and pans were stolen from the New York apartment, while some of his clothing, luggage and bedding was slashed. "The greatest damage from this vicious, mean spirited and heartless crime was perpetrated not on Jon’s property and possessions, but on Jon Gosselin himself, who experienced a traumatic, emotional, roller coast ride having just shared a joyful family gathering with his children during their Christmas," Heller's statement read.
Jon Gosselin's Lawyer On Burglary: "Hailey Will Go To Jail!": Radar.com
"Hailey Glassman is going to jail. It's a simple as that." That's what Jon Gosselin's lawyer Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, as New York police continue to investigate damage to Jon's apartment. Police seized building security tape, according to Heller, who said the only person other than Jon with a key to his apartment is Hailey. Heller spoke out after Hailey's attorney told RadarOnline.com that the situation appeared to be a "huge publicity stunt" and someone is trying to frame Hailey. Heller fired back that security video will prove Hailey trashed Jon's apartment Saturday and left with his plasma TV and other belongings.
He revealed that Jon's favorite Louis Vuitton shoes were shredded by some type of knife and a Ming vase that was in Jon's family for 100 years was shattered.
Police gathered fingerprint evidence from the knife and the handwritten note, Heller told RadarOnline.com. One source says that Hailey has admitted to writing the note.
"The building security tape will not lie and the evidence will speak for itself," Heller told RadarOnline.com. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star discovered his New York apartment ransacked after spending Christmas in Pennsylvania with his eight children.
He also found a handwritten note "speared" with a knife into his wooden dresser, Heller told RadarOnline.com. Some of his clothing, luggage and bedding was slashed, according to Heller. Hailey's mother called Jon, Heller told RadarOnline.com, but Jon wouldn't discuss the incident with her.
RadarOnline.com was first to report that Hailey was questioned by police on Saturday and that her parents spoke to police Sunday. Never one to mince words, Heller told RadarOnline.com: "Jon feels like he was raped." He added that investigators will speak to Jon again in several days and he expects criminal charges to be filed soon after that. Bad feelings between Hailey and Jon were obvious when Hailey Twittered that Jon stole her rent money, a story first reported by RadarOnline.com. She moved out of the apartment they were sharing last week.

Kate to Keep the “Gosselin” for Good: OK Magazine.com
It seems Kate Gosselin has moved on from the drama that plagued her this year. On Friday, the day her divorce from Jon Gosselin was finalized, Kate made a humorous appearance on The Jay Leno Show as the featured person for Jay’s Ten @ Ten segment. There is one thing still binding Kate to her ex-hubby — their last name Gosselin. But don’t expect to see Kate by a new name in 2010. A TLC rep told HollywoodLife.comthat Kate is a Gosselin for good.
Rumors circulated that Kate would drop the “Gosselin” in 2010 and return to her maiden name of “Kreider.”
However, a TLC spokesperson rejected the name-change claim stating the mother of eight is Gosselin through and through. “It’s untrue, it’s not an option,” the rep told Hollywood Life.
For now, the proud momma is focusing on finishing up her Christmas shopping and baking cookies with the kiddies.
Jon Gosselin -- Failed Used Car Salesman: TMZ.COM
The same day Jon Gosselin's divorce was finalized -- and he was hit with huge child support payments -- we've learned he tried (and failed) to pad his wallet by trading in his beloved BMW for a profit.
TMZ spoke to an employee at Auto Exchange USA in Lancaster, PA, who told us Jon showed up at the car lot on Friday and wanted to trade his 2005 BMW M3 for a 2008 Subaru STI (pictured above) PLUS around $4,000 in cash. We're told Jon's car wasn't worth nearly as much as he thought it was -- so he ended up leaving the lot without ever making a trade.
Jon & Kate Split Named #9 Top Story of 2009.. Do you agree?: AP.com
Here are 2009's top entertainment stories as voted by U.S. newspaper and broadcast editors surveyed by The Associated Press.
1. MICHAEL JACKSON DIES: On June 25, Jackson was pronounced dead at the age of 50. One of the most momentous and shocking deaths in pop culture history, the event reverberated in many ways. There was the ongoing investigation: Jackson's death was ruled a homicide, and his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who says he's innocent of wrongdoing, is being investigated for manslaughter. There was the gigantic Los Angeles funeral. There was the documentary, "This Is It," of Jackson's preparations for a comeback concert series. But, perhaps most of all, there was the celebration of his music, on stages and sidewalks the world over.
2. SUSAN BOYLE BECOMES OVERNIGHT SENSATION: Two 21st-century powers — reality TV and the Web — combined to turn the humble, unknown Boyle into an international star. After Boyle sang "I Dreamed a Dream" on "Britain's Got Talent" on April 11, the clip spread like wildfire online, totaling more than 120 million views on YouTube. Her album, released in November, had the best opening week sales of a female debut in decades.
3. LATE-NIGHT SWAP: On NBC, Conan O'Brien took over the "Tonight" show, and Jay Leno moved to 10 p.m. All the fanfare may have been overdone, though: At year's end, neither was receiving good ratings.
4. WALTER CRONKITE DIES: The passing on July 17 of Cronkite, a paragon of journalism and a father figure to a nation, was not only the sad loss of a universally acknowledged great man but was a reminder of a bygone era in broadcasting.
5. DAVID LETTERMAN AFFAIR: Letterman's Oct. 1 announcement on his "Late Show" carried two bombshells: He alleged that he had been the victim of an extortion attempt, and he confessed to having affairs with women on his staff. Letterman, who hasn't shied from the subject on air, saw some of his best ratings in years. The man accused of trying to blackmail Letterman, Robert J. "Joe" Halderman, says he was just shopping a screenplay.
6. CHRIS BROWN ASSAULTS RIHANNA: The big story on Grammy night in 2009 didn't take place on stage but outside the ceremony. Chris Brown assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna, an altercation that led to Brown pleading guilty to felony assault in June. Both R&B stars were in comeback mode before the year was out, releasing new albums just weeks apart.
7. KANYE WEST ROBS TAYLOR SWIFT: Bad behavior, not awards, also ruled the story line at the MTV Video Music Awards. When a stage-crashing West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for best female video, the rapper clearly underestimated the negative reaction he would inspire.
8. LIVE VIDEO EXPLODES ON THE WEB: One of the biggest trends in online video was the emergence of demand — and supply — for live video. Live online video particularly suited daytime news events (when people are at work in front of computers). Millions online watched the inauguration of President Barack Obama and the funeral of Michael Jackson.
9. KATE AND JON GOSSELIN BROADCAST SPLIT: One of reality TV's latest sensations fell apart just as it was reaching fruition. TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" was winning its best ratings in its fifth season when the Gosselins — parents of eight children — announced their separation. With more than 10 million viewers, that episode earned the show its best ratings. Arguments in the divorce, which became final in December, have thus far prevented the show from continuing. TLC hopes to debut a show for Kate Gosselin in the spring.
10. HEATH LEDGER WINS POSTHUMOUS OSCAR: Ledger, whose death topped the poll of 2008's top entertainment stories, remained a presence in 2009, when he won an Oscar for best-supporting actor for his performance as the Joker in "The Dark Knight."

Jon & Kate Gosselin Divorced! People.com
It's over: Having filed the papers in June, Jon and Kate Gosselin have received the judge's signature to make official the finish of their 10-year marriage. The divorce was announced midday Friday. Earlier that morning, a source close to the situation told PEOPLE that "the divorce papers are sitting on a desk, waiting to be signed." "I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children," Kate said in a statement. "On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case." She added: "This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives."
The dissolution of the nationally famous union was expected to become legal before the beginning of 2010, despite remarks from Jon's attorney that the case may drag on until next year. Details of the split have been ironed out, though MSNBC said late Thursday night that an issue developed over Jon's .38 pistol, which reportedly was fired on the Gosselin's Wernersville, Penn., property. The judge has subsequently banned the weapon, says the story. Still to be seen is what sort of TLC show evolves from the Gosselin franchise. A source close to Kate Gosselin tells PEOPLE that the new show will spotlight only the mother of eight, not the former couple's children.
Jon Gosselin -- Backed Into a Corner: TMZ.COM
Jon Gosselin is in immediate financial trouble now that his divorce from Kate Gosselin is final ... because he got nailed with huge child support payments and has no real way of paying ... sources tell TMZ.We've learned under the arbitrator's award, Jon must make huge child support payments -- we're told 5 figures a month. And here's the problem. TLC has now shut down Jon's ability to take outside jobs. The irony -- he did himself in.

I for one, have always felt overwhelmed & stressed during this short month between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don't have enough time, never enough money, never enough of myself for my family, to make it through the month without wanting to scream. I seem to always have too much on my plate, and then the sore throats start. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.. I hope tonight to take a breath and not attack the next person that bumps into me or cuts me off on the road on the way to work or the mall. Seasons Greetings!
Fox411 Exclusive: Jon Gosselin is broke, can't pay legal bills: Fox411.com
It sounds like money is tight for former reality dad Jon Gosselin. Last week, TLC was granted a preliminary injunction that forced Jon to stop making public appearances. Now a source close to Gosselin tells Fox411.com that the decision was a serious blow to the livelihood of the former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star. "Jon's in pretty serious financial trouble because his plan for making money was shut down in court,” the insider said. “He has warned his lawyers that he can't pay them and if he doesn't succeed against TLC, he will have no funds. He's even gone so far as to say that if they want to be paid, they will have to sue him."
Those lawyers are part of a father/son team that was introduced to Gosselin by Michael Lohan, says the insider. "Mark and Mike Heller were brought in because Michael Lohan was involved, and he convinced them to join Jon's team early on in the summer,” the source said. “Lohan wanted to latch onto Jon and involved many people he knew. He convinced them Jon was going to have a successful career after the show.” Mike Heller is the CEO of Talent Resources, which manages Jon Gosselin, and Mark Heller is Jon Gosselin’s New York lawyer. But it wasn’t just Michael Lohan, currently having trouble himself, fueling the enthusiasm around the TV dad. Gosselin also led his lawyers to believe that he had money in his various accounts, said the source.
Now Gosselin's bills are stacking up and he needs to get a legitimate job, but the insider says he is making no effort to get one. "It's a good thing Kate Gosselin has been put in charge of the family funds that provide for the couple's eight children," the insider says. "She is the responsible parent." Reps for the Hellers deny any problems with Gosselin. “Jon Gosselin’s New York lawyer has the highest regard for Jon Gosselin and will continue to work for Jon for as long as he requires their services," the rep said in a written statement to Fox411.com "The Hellers have no concern relevant to being paid by Jon for their services and see no circumstances under which they would ever sue Jon."
“This past year, Jon Gosselin was the most photographed man in America and appeared in more magazines than any other reality TV star," the statement continues. "Wherever he goes, there is an outpouring of love for him from his fans. And there is no doubt that he has a bright and shining career ahead of him.”
Kate Gosselin On Jay Leno This Friday!
I am super excited to see how she will be when she's on his show this Friday night 10pm. Theres conflicting reports on whether it will be a pre-recorded skit or if shes a live guest, but either way I hope it's good. Remember this?
Kate Gosselin & Elin Nordegren - strong women who create loving homes despite wayward husbands: Examiner.com (I know we already discussed in the comments section this post, but I really l
Kate Gosselin and Elin Nordegren are showing us they are strong women who are creating loving homes despite wayward husbands. If you are looking for male role models both Jon Gosselin and now Tiger Woods are not examples. However, if you are looking for strong female role models take a good look at both Kate Gosselin and Elin Nordegren.
Elin Nordegren was taking care of business and taking the dogs for a ride, just a few days after her husband's accident . She was recently seen getting gas, while taking her children and family to a Christmas Party. We have not seen Tiger since he wrapped his SUV around a tree. He did manage to put together a press release, no doubt written by a professional that did say a few kind words about his wife. In 2007, Tiger reportedly missed his daughter Sam's baptism to attend a charity event.
Reality star, Kate Gosselin, now has primary custody of her children, has found herself another job after Jon had a hissy fit and stopped the show, when his name was taken off the title. We doubt, he bothered to tell Kate she would suddenly have no income to feed their eight children. This, after he took $180 grand out of the family bank account and had to be forced to put it back by a judge. Jon could not be bothered to show up to his court date with their former employer.
Women are without a doubt the keepers of home. While men are running around puffing up their egos and collecting trophy's, these women, are planning birthday parties and wiping snotty noses. Worrying about school clothes, Christmas decorations and school tuitions. They are planning family get togethers and keeping their minds focused firmly on their children.

A judge granted TLC's request for a preliminary injunction against Jon Gosselin late Thursday following a day of testimony in a Maryland court room, and RadarOnline.com's Sarah Park was there when Judge Michael D. Mason made his decision. The ruling means that Jon must abide by the exclusivity and confidentiality agreement in his contract, putting an end to his unapproved and paid interviews with various outlets. It will also prohibit him from continuing to pursue competing TV deals.
The action took place in Montgomery County Circuit Court TLC will continue to litigate its breach of contract lawsuit against its rogue one-time star. A trial date for that action has been set for April, 2010. In a side note, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Jon's lawyer Mark Heller was denied permission by the judge to sit at the table with defense counsel Thursday. Heller is not licensed to practice in Maryland and did not apply for special permission to practice in this case. He was relegated to sitting in the audience.
After the judge's ruling, TLC released this statement: "We are pleased with the Court's ruling today. The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly. Step one -- getting the court to order Mr. Gosselin to comply with his contractual obligations -- has been accomplished. Any further breaches going forward will be violations of a court order. We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches."
Jon was not present for the proceedings at the Maryland Circuit Court. He had been expected to be questioned under oath regarding his outside income, statements about TLC and more.
TLC's attorney, Paul Gaffney, a partner in the firm of Williams & Connolly, methodically and emphatically made his case, eliciting testimony that left no doubt Gosselin had breached his contract. The judge's decision proved that Gaffney and TLC met every requirement for the injunction, a ruling that will drastically change Jon's life and silence his paid extra-curricular activities that TLC claimed caused them great harm. TLC Chief Operating Officer Edward Sabin testified that Gosselin's behavior was embarrassing for the network and the show, pointing to an August appearance he made in Las Vegas at a pool party. "It made the show look bad," Sabin said of Jon & Kate Plus 8. "Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show."
Jon's lawyer Peter Toumbekis said in his closing argument that the 32-year old's lifestyle had not done any "irreparable harm" and pointed to the fact that since the controversy surrounding the Gosselin's marriage surfaced, the show's ratings went "through the roof!" Toumbekis also brought up the Pennsylvania Labor Department's ongoing investigation regarding the show's contract in the context of the children, alleging the network purposefully circumvented child labors laws and neglected to justly compensate the eight kids. But the judge wasn't buying the argument. And the granting of the preliminary injunction is partially based on a belief that TLC is likely to prevail at trial.
EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEWS: TLC Wins In Court Against Jon Gosselin - Radar Reports From Scene RadarOnline.com
Kate Gosselin Serves Food For New Reality Show? JUST JARED.COM
Kate Gosselin no longer has Jon & Kate Plus 8 but may have a new show in the works. News station WRAL cameras captured the 34-year-old reality TV mom serving food for over three hours at Finch’s Restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday morning (December 8). Kate’s longtime bodyguard, Steve Neild, said Kate was shooting a “test” segment for a future program. No word on whether Kate’s twins and sextuplets will be involved in the show. You can bet Jon won’t be starring in it!
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com after the deposition Glassman had only harsh words for Jon and called him “a monster.” She was the third witness deposed by TLC in their breach of contract lawsuit against the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star.
Glassman, 22, blasted Jon and said: “He became a monster. He’s master manipulator and a compulsive liar.” After sticking with him faithfully for eight months, Glassman got definitive proof Monday that Jon cheated on her — with former Star reporter Kate Major. “I was told under oath that Jon really did sleep with Kate Major,” a teary-eyed Glassman told RadarOnline.com. “I’m mind boggled and hurt by it. And he still lies to me about it and denies it to this day. “Back in June, Jon came to me and said he had a friend who felt horrible for me and wanted to do a ‘defending Hailey’ article,” she explained. “I think back now and say to myself, ‘Hailey, you should have been smarter.’ I mean they told me, ‘Kate Major is going to pretend to be Jon’s girlfriend so they can take the heat off of you’, and I was like, ‘great! Ok, thank you!’”
But photos of Major and Jon together made her feel the “ultimate betrayal.” Jon’s legal team did not have a lawyer present at today’s deposition, an unusual move.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality couple had been trying to sell the 5 bedroom 2.5 bath home in Elizabethtown, Pa, since March 2009.
A spokesman from local realtors Brownstone Real Estate confirmed to RadarOnline.com that the property was off the market and under contract – if everything proceeds then the deal should go through in the next four to six weeks. The embattled couple – who are currently going through a messy divorce – bought the property for $280,000 in 2006. On season four, of Jon & Kate Plus Eight an episode showed contractors getting the house in tip-top shape – including removing lighting that had been installed for filming purposes – before it went up for sale. The home is in a suburban neighborhood where the houses are built fairly close together on approx. 1/3-acre lots.

Kate Major To Jon Gosselin -- "You Messed With The Wrong Girl!" Radar.com
Kate Major is finally spilling the intimate details of her relationship with Jon Gosselin. Following her deposition this week in the TLC breach of contract case against Gosselin, Major spoke to RadarOnline.com. She revealed why she fell for him and talked about her own business contract with him. Major called her deposition “pretty intense. I told the truth, I have nothing to hide.”
She admitted that she fell for Jon because she believed in him and felt he had a good work ethic. “I really felt it would work out for us”. Major revealed that both she and Jon signed a contract stating that she would quit her job as a Star magazine reporter and work solely for him. “It was a mutual agreement, and it was not on a napkin. Jon and I both had a copy. It was the same copy that was signed and dated that we both drew up together."
When asked if she was going through with plans to sue Jon for breach of contract, Major told us her lawyers are exploring all options. But when pressed to say whether she would sue Gosselin if it was up to her, Major replied slyly, “Oh, you betcha! He messed with the wrong girl!”
Michael Lohan: Jon Gosselin "Stabbed Me In The Back" Huffingtonpost.com
Michael Lohan has slammed former bestie Jon Gosselin. Lohan testified this week about Gosselin as part of TLC's lawsuit about the reality show dad breaching his contract by taking unauthorized outside work, like hosting a Vegas pool party. Lohan says he had a business arrangement to get him work (and presumably get a cut of the pay), and Gosselin reneged.
"Jon knows what the deal was. I kept him out of harm's way... and he stabbed me in the back," Lohan told Access. "When you open your door to somebody and you give them a safe haven and a place to go and then they turn around and bite the hand that feeds or stab you in the back, that doesn't sit well with me.""Jon has hurt a lot of people in his life, I feel bad for him."

So when we last left Jon & Kate..Kate entertained her good friends, bodyguard Steve Neild and his wife Gina, for Thanksgiving dinner Thursday. It was Kate's first major holiday since her split from Jon. Kate's screwball ex, Jon, (Radar.com's words, not mine) had wanted fans to believe he was going to his grandmother's for turkey day but his on-again/off-again girlfriend Hailey Glassman ratted him out on Twitter. Seems Jon was really off snowboarding with a buddy! The TLC Jon and Kate Plus 8 series finale garnered a strong 4.3 million audience last Monday. The one hour episode put together the last bits of film it had on the family. A twitter rage broke out aimed at Jon Gosselin for ending the show. The Gosselin divorce is moving ahead rapidly. All their assets should be split by December 21, with the marriage officially over by December 31.
Kate Gosselin talks to police before Jon begins daddy duty at the mansion: Examiner.com
Kate Gosselin is seen having a brief conversation with officers in a police cruiser, as she runs errands in her Toyota SUV. Jon is schedule to resume daddy duty of their eight children soon. There has been great speculation about where Jon spent his Thanksgiving weekend. No pictures have emerged. Jon himself told x17 videographers that he would be spending it with his Grandma, but Hailey Glassman called him a liar on her twitter and divulged he was skiing in Utah. It gets worse, Kate Major then tweets that the father is likely getting high on his holidays. It seems all of Jon's ex-girlfriends, except Deanna Hummel, have banded together to denounce the still married father of eight. Not satisfied with their tearful TV tours to get revenge, they have resorted to tweeting on his activities.
With both Stephanie Santoro and now Kate Major mentioning Jon's alleged drug use, Jon may be very concerned about what soon to be ex-wife Kate Gosselin was saying to the police officers. Jon's ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman was charged with drug offenses in her college days. Did Jon Gosselin Claim On Audio He Pimped His Kids? ABC News.com
Gosselin goes on to explain how TLC "scare tactic"-ed him into an exclusivity clause in his contract with the network. TLC is suing Gosselin for breaching that contract. He also claims the network stole money owed to his child. "They tried to scare tactic me," he said. "Why the f**k should they get paid and not my kids?"
"And I see now they know that I know," Gosselin said. "That they took money from People [magazine], they took money from Good Housekeeping. They struck side deals and none of that money went to my kids. To leak that to the public? Oh my god, Michael, can you imagine? They'd be so f**ked. Their stock would tank. That they stole from eight kids." Gosselin's rants continue for almost four minutes. "They never say the good things," he said, lambasting the media. "Never, because the good things don't sell. I've learned. I'm not stupid."
Gosselin's lawyer, Mark Heller, said he has no comment at this time. "I'm not even going to dignify this with a comment," TLC senior vice president Laurie Goldberg said. Lohan said he recorded his conversations with Gosselin several months ago because the two were talking about putting together a reality show, "The Divorced Dads Club," and he was afraid Gosselin would cut him out of the development deal. "When someone makes me believe they were lying or something was going to happen, I tape their conversations," he told ABC News.
The leaked conversation comes on the heels of the news that his divorce from his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, may finally be finite. Gosselin offered the mother of his children a bouquet of red roses at their divorce arbitration hearing over the weekend, according to The Associated Press. She refused them. But, despite that, the session went so swimmingly that their divorce could be finalized by the end of the year, Gosselin's attorney told the AP.

Mourning The Loss Of Jon & Kate Plus 8: Its a Crazy Life, But Its Our Life , Assets Divided By December
Though we've loved them from the beginning, we first really started talking about the Gosselins when rumors started that Jon was cheating on Kate. Then Kate went on the Today show to talk about the affair accusations. She told PEOPLE magazine that she and Jon might split. And suddenly Jon got a new girlfriend -- the younger Hailey Glassman. In the midst of all the relationship drama, Jon and Kate were investigated for a child labor complaint. Suddenly, their lives seemed more like a soap opera than a heartwarming family show.
On June 22, TLC announced that Jon and Kate were making a major announcement. That night we watched the couple sit on their interview couch and tell us they were splitting up. The same day the episode aired, the couple filed for divorce. Kate stayed strong in the midst of it all: Admist rumors that Kate would get her own talk show (while we had some helpful suggestions other reality shows Jon should join), she was a guest host on The View, where she showed off a hot, new do. She even mocked herself on The Jay Leno Show. When TLC announced that the show would start being called Kate Plus 8, Jon forbade the cameras from filming his kids. TLC sued Jon and Jon sued back. And the lack of fresh footage forced TLC to bring the series to an end. Now, as we gear up for the sure-to-be-tear-filled series finale of Jon & Kate Plus 8, we remember the kids' cutest moments. After all, through the Gosselin family's ups and downs and tabloid coverage, those "eight little faces" are the heart of the show and the reason we'll miss watching it on TV each week.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 series finale will air on TLC tonight at 9 p.m.
A divorce arbitrator will divide Jon and Kate's financial assets by December 21, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. That timetable makes it likely that the couple's divorce can be finalized by the end of this year, as Jon's lawyer Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com previously.
Jon and Kate spent much of Saturday, November 21 with an arbitrator who went though the marital property line by line. Many - but not all - decisions about who gets what were made and the arbitrator will resolve the outstanding economic issues with a ruling by December 21, a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. Things got off to a rocky start when Heller showed up 45 minutes late with several shopping bags full of documents, RadarOnline.com learned.
And as we previously reported Jon brought roses for Kate in a publicity stunt to try to further Team Jon's characterization of the divorce as the War of the Roses. Kate did not accept the roses and a source familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com, "She was disgusted by Jon's actions. She sees right through him. "He told the press he brought the flowers as a peace offering but Kate knows he just did it for attention. You can't go on TV and say you despise someone and then bring them roses. Kate is keeping her focus on pushing this divorce through as fast as possible." Kate had hoped to keep Saturday's meeting out of the spotlight and avoid a sideshow to what has been a painful and public divorce for the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star.
When the couple's finances are decided by the arbitrator's ruling Jon will be looking at some potentially hefty legal bills coming out of his share. TLC is suing him for breach of contract and seeking a preliminary injunction against him. RadarOnline.com examined the court docket and there are proceedings scheduled past the first six months of next year. If TLC is awarded damages against Jon, he could see his share of the marital assets disappear with record speed.

Kate Major's Gonna Sue the Ed Hardy Track Pants Off Jon Gosselin: E Online.com
Jon Gosselin’s embarrassingly public blunders are hitting him right where it counts – the wallet.
RadarOnline.com learned that the reality dad’s former fling, Kate Major, has retained an attorney and is moving forward with plans to sue him for breach of contract. “Kate called me and has retained my services regarding a possible breach of contract between herself and Jon Gosselin,” Major’s attorney, Ben Pietra, confirmed to RadarOnline.com. “We are keeping our legal options open, but if a breach of contract has occurred, we will be moving forward with a lawsuit.”
Gosselin and Major signed a secret handwritten agreement back in June, in which Kate agreed to work for Jon as his personal assistant, earning a percentage from his accounts and pledging not to talk to the media about their relationship .
All was quiet on the Gosselin front—for a few days, anyway—but not anymore. And you have Kate Major to thank. The tabloid reporter turned comically contracted personal assistant/romantic interest of Jon Gosselin is ready to launch a battle royale against the reality douche dad.
"One day this nightmare will hopefully end," she tweeted today. "If he would have told the TRUTH we wouldnt be in this position…."You don't have to strain too hard to figure out the "he" to whom she's referring. Major has already lawyered up in advance of a potential lawsuit, which, will include claims of breach-of-contract, fraud and loss of wages. She claims that Gosselin apparently failed to make good on the hand-scrawled, half-baked terms of their contract, which promised Major a salary commensurate to her Star paycheck and "a percentage of accounts for payment based upon involvement."
Hailey Glassman's abuse claims about Jon Gosselin made up - by Jon! Fox 411.com
Which means Hailey's abuse allegation was just a "Balloon Boy" type stunt to attract reality-TV producer attention. However, the other rumor of the week, that Jon would be involved with Octomom, was true, even though he denied it, says the source. Jon released a statement on Thursday night denying he even heard about a reality show with Nadya Suleman. But emails seen by Fox411 and RadarOnline.com show Gosselin was contemplating the show and hoping to get close to a million dollars for a slew of fake dates with Octomom.
The insider says Jon is still using excuses to explain his bad behavior and the poor example he's setting for his children. "Jon still believes he got married too young and had too many children that he wasn't ready for - that's what has led to the demise of his relationship and the TV show," says the source. "Kate doesn't even talk to him. She leads a totally separate life, and their schedules are worked out far in advance to completely avoid each other."

That doesn't mean I'm going anywhere...Are you kidding me? I'm excited to watch the haters, nasty trolls and every crazy in between fade away & find new people to let out their frustrations on. For everything to die down a bit, and once again be the last blog standing. I will say it comes at a good time for me. I will be so busy once December starts, my loyal readers may have to tell ME the inside scoops! But know that my comments sections will ALWAYS be open for you all to talk to each other and me...I have met the most wonderful people here and look forward to meeting more!
Sneak Peak For Tonight!
On that note I am very excited to see these two new back-to-back episodes!
Jon Gosselin is in Hawaii with his mom and stepdad to attend the wedding of Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino. And while he's there, Jon's not letting any grass skirts grow under his feet -- he's been living the life of a native, partying like nobody's business (except in true Jon Gosselin fashion he makes it everybody's business).
Last year around this time Jon was in Hawaii to renew his vows with estranged wife Kate Gosselin...but this weekend Jon was touting his new no-ties lifestyle, snapped out surfing in the Pacific. Whether he actually got up on the board is unclear, but apparently pretending to hang ten is good for press. Meanwhile Saturday night after Victorino's wedding Jon got loose at a bar with -- it's a mystery to us too -- lots of ladies around. Paparazzi caught him looking completely smashed at Lulu's Lahaina Surf Club & Grill. We're so proud of Jon for turning over a new leaf.

In a $5 million countersuit against the network that made him famous, Jon Gosselin says TLC has harmed his reputation and caused him to lose business opportunities, according to court papers obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com. In addition, Jon claims the network owes him $175,000. The court documents making their way through Maryland’s Montgomery County Circuit Court system confirm our world exclusive scoop that Jon was answering TLC’s lawsuit against him with one against the network!
EXCLUSIVE COURT DOCUMENTS: Read Jon’s Lawsuit Against TLC Here
The papers reveal that Jon was earning $22,500 per half hour episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and $45,000 per hour-long episode, according to the terms of an April 29, 2008 contract.
COURT DOCUMENTS: Read Jon’s Response To TLC’s Request For A Preliminary Injunction
His countersuit is filed as part of his response to TLC’s breach of contract lawsuit and the network’s request for a preliminary injunction, which is scheduled to be heard December 14. Jon’s lawyer Mark Heller has enlisted the help of Maryland lawyer Christopher Hostage in the fight against TLC, which is represented by Williams & Connolly, widely regarded as one of the best law firms in the country.
EXCLUSIVE: Court Rules TLC Can Depose Kate Major
Jon claims that his outside money-making ventures are legitimate and his contract with TLC is against Public Policy, rendering it null and void. In his $5 million counterclaim against TLC, Jon’s lawyers claim TLC’s parent company, Discovery began contacting media outlets on August 9, 2009 to get them to stop dealing with Jon. Jon’s lawyers say: “As a result of Plaintiff-Discovery’s conduct and actions, Defendant-Gosselin has suffered and will continue to suffer harm to his reputation, lost business opportunities, lost profits, and other consequential damages, such as, but not limited to, a loss of good will and name recognition.” Meanwhile, Paul Gaffney, the lead attorney for Williams & Connolly, has won several court motions allowing him to depose various people close to Jon, including girlfriend Hailey Glassman, Jon’s bodyguard, his Team of Hellers and Michael Lohan.
EXCLUSIVE: TLC Lines Up Bombshell Witnesses In Court Case Against Jon Gosselin
While Jon contends that TLC’s contract is unlawfully restrictive and prevents him from earning a living, TLC alleges Jon breached their contract and would still be receiving a paycheck from the network if he had not decided to compete with it. Jon charges the network with violating Pennsylvania child labor laws and taking advantage of the Gosselins, who negotiated their first (of several) contracts without a lawyer or manager. Those court papers are available only on RadarOnliine.com, although they were briefly “lifted” by another site, which decided to remove them after a phone call from RadarOnline.com’s lawyers!
Jon & Kate To Spend Christmas Together With The Kids: PopEater.com
The holidays are coming and for families of divorce, it can be a difficult time of year -- something the Gosselin clan will have to get used to. But Jon Gosselin tells PopEater that everything will remain the same for his eight children despite his estrangement from wife Kate Gosselin, so that "they have the sense of security with everything that's going on."The 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' dad -- who will be spending both holidays with his kids -- details for us their family traditions like his apple crisp, and also discusses the foundation he set up with his brother to honor their father and help children in need.
Are you getting ready for the holidays?I'm going to spend Thanksgiving with my kids when I get back from Hawaii, not all day, just like half the day.
What are your plans for Christmas?Christmas Eve and Christmas day are joint-shared custody days, which means we're both in the house. So we'll be there.
Have the kids started asking for presents yet?I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. Don't put pressure on me! It will probably be all Internet based this year, pre-wrapped. You know, I'm a guy, when there's free gift wrap, I'm like, 'Yeah, yes please.'It's easier that way.Oh my goodness, doesn't your back hurt so much? And why do we sit on the floor and reach over, you can never reach the end of the wrapping paper, you need monkey arms, it's annoying. Nothing ever matches up. My mother is like the best wrapper on the planet. The pattern matches perfect and she puts Hershey kisses on top [of the gift.] I'm envious of her wrap jobs.
What are your favorite family traditions to do at this time of the year? On Thanksgiving I make apple crisp, that's like my thing. They always ask for it. I juice up my mom's recipe, I add more sugar and stuff. So they are always happy about that. They do like apple picking and make cider, all the Pennsylvania stuff that we've been doing for years anyway. We still keep those traditions. We have an organic apple orchard that we go to. There are a couple of apple trees on my property, so we can pick those ... We do stuff outside. I have landscapers, but I still tell them to leave leaves, so we can make a big pile and jump through it ... We do stuff like that at Christmas, hanging the stockings. They do the stockings early Christmas morning. Kate makes sticky buns. We keep it all the same. Nothing has changed. That way they have the sense of security with everything that's going on. But, this year, there's a lot of paparazzi, so who knows? Every year it's different.
Do they get up really early on Christmas?Oh yes, because they are used to school. For school they have to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning. And the parents [do, too].You started a new foundation.
What can you tell me about that?I started the Jon Gosselin Children's foundation in the name of my father. It's something that my brother and I wanted to do, but we never had the finances to do so. And obviously this year has been a pretty good year for me financially, so I started the foundation in memory of my father. My father was a children's dentist for 30 years and he dedicated one day a week for 30 years to handicapped children for free. It never really hit my brother and I. When my dad passed away that's when we started noticing at the viewing all these handicapped patients coming in. Now ... they were adults by now, but they were so thankful for all the work he did. He fixed their cavities and stuff like that. But he dedicated full service to them. That was amazing to me and my brothers and I always thought, "That's amazing what Dad did." All the time he spent with us and all the dedication he spent with us and he still had time to help other people. And that's what I want to do. I'm not a doctor obviously and the only way we could do this was start a foundation to allocate funds to children and a few parents that need help with medical bills. We're trying to get corporate sponsorships and hopefully everything will work out and we can continue the legacy of my father.
Is there anything else you'd like to get involved with?Once you start a foundation, then other foundations call you. Now I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel because I've never ran [one] before. But you learn from other people and what they do and sometimes you can link foundations together, which would be great. Stuff I do, I visit cancer kids, not because it's a pat on the back for myself. It was just a turning point in my life going to St. Jude's. I did a film shoot with TLC last year at St. Jude's. That was the first time I really was shocked. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. You have kids who are not going to make it. You're happy they are there because they are getting the best care in the world. But, it really touched my heart. Just because we showed up, they were happier just that one day. That's amazing you can change someone's life and attitude just by appearing. It's something that you have to realize within the public eye. People look to you and that's why I decided to change my life in recent months and started taking initiative for my actions, owning up to my mistakes and learning from them.It must be difficult to reconcile the fact that you're in the public eye, but it also gives you the opportunity to help people.Right. People always say to me, 'Jon, you are famous.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, OK, whatever.' They say, 'You can do two things with your fame. You can have your 15 minutes, or you can take your fame and do good for the world.' And that's what I'm trying to do.
