USWEEKLY.COM Kate Plus 8 -- minus a job?

Former reality show matriarch Kate Gosselin has been let go from her gig as a blogger for CouponCabin, the company's CEO announced in a letter Tuesday.
"Some nine-plus years ago, I started CouponCabin with the thought of creating a single website that had all the best coupons . . . no gimmicks, no fluff, just a site that was easy to use and that had great deals," founder Scott Kluth wrote. "A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin."
Concluded Kluth, "We wish Kate, her family and her support staff all the best."
Beyond the CEO's letter, CouponCabin has declined to elaborate on the "recent events" that led them to fire the 37-year-old Philadelphia native, who is a mom to twins Cara and Madelyn, 12, and sextuplets AadenCollinJoelLeah, Alexis and Hannah, 8, with ex-husband Jon Gosselin. Since TLC's Kate Plus 8 went off the air in 2011, Gosselin has focused on her kids and her blog, in which she shared budgeting tips with CouponCabin's readers. Last week, however, the mom of eight appeared on Watch What Happens Livewhere she addressed her youthful appearance and those reports that she's dating her bodyguard"I am probably one of the rare few who de-age," Gosselin told Andy Cohen, shooting down speculation that she's had work done. As for her bond with her longtime bodyguard Steve Neild? "I'm single! Still [and] always," she exclaimed, denying longstanding rumors of a romance.

You would think that experiencing two multiple pregnancies and births (first twins, then sextuplets), raising eight children, going through a difficult divorce and having your life picked apart publicly would take a toll on your looks. Just the opposite, in Kate Gosselin‘s case. At 37, she’s looking better than ever. And despite persistent rumors that she’s gone under the knife, she insists that her young appearance is entirely natural. Us Weekly quotes a statement she made onWatch What Happens Live the other day: “I am probably one of the rare few who de-age.”
Shown a photo of herself looking tired and a trifle heavy back in 2004 soon after giving birth to her sextuplets, she went on to explain that after that ordeal, “you have to get better, right? You can’t get worse than that.”
(Still, the gossip goes on. Sources have told the magazine that Kate’s looks are Botox-enhanced.)
The other question that keeps turning up for the reality star is whether she’s seeing anyone, now that her split from ex-husband Jon is several years old.
The one name that comes up often is Steve Neild, the family’s long-time bodyguard. Not so, says Kate. “I’m single! Still [and] always,” she told Andy Cohen. The only reason Steve is there, she adds, is to protect her and her family. “I’m not going to give out [past horror] stories, but it’s warranted for sure. He keeps them safe.”
Will she ever become Kate Plus Mate again? She’s said that she wouldn’t mind being on a dating show – and that the kids keep urging her to find someone new. But she also acknowledges the challenges that come with dating a famous mom who comes with a large ready-made family.
She tells Access Hollywood, “It’s a hard spot to be in. [Eight children] is a lot to expect from anyone….So, I mean, whatever happens. [If] somebody is brave enough to stick around for some period of time, it’s probably meant to be.”
In the 12 years since she first became a mom, Kate has been through plenty of lows along with the highs, which she says have matured her and changed her priorities. “Going through such a public divorce, and feeling like you have to fight for your kids every day and the things that protect them and the things that are important for them has really, really, really made me realize what is important – and it’s them.”
