Watch Here!: Alaska Here We Come, Are People Watching Kate Plus 8? What's To Come?

TVCelebrity.com: They’re back! Kate Gosselin and her brood are returning to TLC in a series special, Kate Plus 8: Alaska, Here We Come! For more info on this special episode (complete with sneak peek video!), as well as what the Gosselins have been up to recently, keep on reading! Kate Gosselin and her heard of kids are making a return to TLC this weekend in an hour-long special called “Kate Plus 8: Alaska, Here We Come” in which they, well, go to Alaska. Things have been pretty quiet with the Gosselins since Kate’s stint on “Dancing With the Stars” last season, and TLC has even cut down their promotion of their once media-crazed family. But it looks like the Gosselins (minus Jon of course) are trying to make a bit of a comeback. In a stroke of cross-promotional genius, TLC is sending the family to Alaska. The kids and Kate will be doing typical Alaska-type things like visiting glaciers, whale watching, riding Iditarod dog sleds, panning for gold, and meeting Sarah Palin. Yep, that’s right. The Gosselins and the Palins. Hanging out in Alaska.
With the debut of TLC’s new show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” right around the corner, it makes sense for the network to use the Gosselins and Kate Plus 8 to promote their new show, and to use Sarah Palin to bring some attention back to Kate Gosselin and her octofam. TLC reps have confirmed that the two megamoms do meet up in Alaska, and that it will be featured in an upcoming episode, but whether that episode is of “Kate Plus 8” or “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” (or both?) has yet to be determined. Aside from visiting the great white north, the Gosselin clan has been (surprisingly) quiet. Jon went to Taco Bell a while back, and there have been some reports that one of the Gosselin girls got suspended from school for fighting (it was only a matter of time before one of them snapped). Other than that, things have been pretty calm in Pennsylvania.“Kate Plus 8: Alaska, Here We Come” airs tonight (Sunday, November 7) at 9/8c. What do you guys think of the Kate Plus 8 Alaska special this weekend? Will you watch? What do you think of Kate and Sarah Palin becoming TLC buddies?

Travelling to Alaska with Kate Plus 8 July 22, 2010 by

Spending 8 hours on a flight from Philly to Anchorage with the KatePlus 8 family (and entourage) was exhausting. Mostly due to sitting in a tight coach seat  for that long a period of time but with all the comings and goings of the entourage it was tough to get any sleep. I had to travel to Anchorage on Monday to visit a customer for my paying job.  There’s a new flight from Philly that flies non-stop to Anchorage and you can’t imagine how excited I was since it can normally take 3 to 4 hops to reach Anchorage from Albany. Upon arriving at the gate in Philly I noticed lots of people milling about staring at 2 camera crews and I was almost giddy with delight that I’d be travelling with the Palin clan (more on that later - 2 days after my arrival in Anchorage I actually did have a Palin connection).  Upon closer inspection I see a gaggle of small children with cameras in their faces and a tall, blond woman instantly recognizable from all the tabloid covers we’re all forced to glance at while waiting to pay for our groceries (I should shop at the food coop in Albany more often, you are totally spared the tabloid experience by shopping here).  Although I don’t watch the Kate Plus 8 reality show you’d have to be sleeping under a rock not to know who this gang was.  I tried very hard not to stare and but it was much too interesting and so I would take a few lingering glances over while we all lined up to board (through some miracle the plane departed on time – probably a first for Philly).

The kids seemed very well behaved. They weren’t screaming or shouting, just playing normally and they didn’t really seem to mind the camera crew. They almost seemed like they didn’t even notice the crew (even though, as you can see from the photos, the camera was often literally pointed at their faces). The entire group plus entourage boarded last and stopped right next to my seat because the camera crews sat behind me. When it was time to continue down the aisle momma Gosselin just said: “walk”. Naturally that had zero effect on the kids lined up behind her so she turned around again and said: “we’re walking” and that did the trick. They marched down the aisle to their seats.  Later in the flight I was told by my seatmate, who seemed to have a small bladder,  that #3 and #7 threw up but I cannot confirm that. I have no idea what the family will be doing in Anchorage but I’m sure there will be a couple episodes of escapades from the trip. I can’t imagine taking 8 kids (I actually only counted 7 so one of them might have taken a later flight) on a long trip like that. You have to give that mom credit for getting them out of the house and up to Alaska. Can you even imagine the packing involved!! Oh, the one funny thing is that I didn’t see the family at the baggage check, only the camera crew. So I’m guessing the crew had to carry all the bags. I just think that’s funny. So it’s been my brush with celebrity week.

  2. I'm super excited too. I haven't been to Alaska in several years and it was the best cruise I ever took. As soon as I can get the episode up on this post I will!

Hopefully this will help out tourism for an amazing state. I also hope that the numbers are good for this show. This footage is old so they con't complain the kids are constantly filming!

  3. My thoughts exactly. I was thinking that this is going to stir up the whole kids filming thing again, but you're right...no leg to stand on. LOL

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST ENJOY this cute little show???? Why must we always pick everything apart??

I can not wait to see the kids on a whale watch. When we lived in MA/RI it was one of my favorite things to do. We actually got to see a mama and her baby whale once. So pretty. I hope the kids got to do that too!

  4. I am so excited to watch. I too haven't been to Alaska in a long time and can't wait to see it again. I hope our satellite is set up by then. If not, I am coming to this site to catch up on everyone's reactions... LOL.

  5. Good Morning all!

Baby Mama--Hope you had a wonderful evening filled with peace and fun and that it continues through the new week. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Love the smell of Halloween candy.

The passenger's account of his flight to Alaska with the Gosselins is like a breath of fresh air compared to the corn maze story. Thanks for posting it.

We look forward to watching the Alaska episode.

  6. Oops--I just realized we forgot to turn the clocks back for Daylight Savings Time. :)

  7. Corrina - thank you again for the lovely knitted towel! Without you knowing, it matches my kitchen perfectly! It has prompted me to root through craft boxes stored for two years from the last move to find knitting needles. Yes, one of my tweeners is determined to learn. She's the one who is always following (herding?) everybody but always helping mom. So, you've helped in starting a budding crafter in yet another activity. Her twin tells her it's dorky but what does he know.

  8. Tashapork - Glad the yardsale was a success and hope all your appliances are working! :)

  9. Holy smoke! I completely forgot about daylight savings time! Here I thought my kids got up way too early again! Thanks for letting me know guys. See this site is multi-purpose site for all your household needs.

I had to get a new DVR. It broke and we lost all the things on the box we had saved. I never got a chance to see anything I had taped. All of the Kate Plus episodes were there as well. ugh. It's always so crazy Sunday night at my house, I like to tape it so I can watch it in peace. So anyone on tonight come on and let me know how it's going! xoxox be back later

tashapork, I have wanted to have a "garage" sale for years. I just wind up having people come to me and pick things up. I'm thinking of how much money I could have ;)

  10. Cold weather - Thanks to CMo3, Corrina, and Ttashapork for our cooler weather! The kids are hoping that you sent snowflakes soon to follow! We didn't have the heart to tell them it's supposed to be warmer again in a few days.
    ----
KateFan01 - I am so excited too! We've decided to let all stay up and watch. Their petitions are granted! The persuasive comments about "some of us are learning about Alaska in school so this would be helpful to watch" have swayed their parents!

  11. Baby Mama - Reminder...The switch in Daylight Savings time also means today is the time to change and put fresh batterires in all of your smoke detectors. Please don't forget!

  12. Linda--I always love to hear that there is a budding knitter/crafter! I have a book on teaching children to crochet--I bet there is one for knitting too. My grandma taught me both when I was in 2nd grade. Now I think I have enough yarn to last me a year or more! My mind is full of ideas and I love giving gifts-it's part of being a blessing to others. You know how to knit, so that will make it so much easier for your daughter.

And about the snow--sorry :). It's supposed to be close to 60 here tomorrow and possibly snow for next weekend.

Also thanks for the reminder about fresh batteries in the smoke detectors.

tashapork--Would you do it again--having a yard sale this time of year, weather permitting?

  13. Good Morning Baby Mama,
You asked if we thought Kate and Sarah are going to be TLC buds. I think for the sake of the show must go on, they will grin and bare it.
If people really want to see Alaska on TV, they should watch National Geographic channel. They are really great. Also, that is what Palin's show is about, I will wait and see.

We had a few snow flurries here on Thur. and I still have to winterize my windows, BURRRRRR! I am not looking forward to another Winter in MI. The Sun is out today, so I hope everyone enjoys their day!

  14. I am thankful for the warm weather, by the middle of the week it is supposed to be 40s. Speaking of cold, I am sooooo excited, there is somebody in our kitchen working on our icemaker line. It has been 11 months since the Sears technician broke it and I am sooo sick of buying ice. I never realized how much we enjoy ice until we had to buy it. I just pray he can do it. 1950s houses tend to run into obstacles.
Yardsales are tons of work, if you have one, make sure you have help. I also let stuff go dirt cheap. I want rid of it, I refuse to carry things back in the house, after the sale we load it up and head for the thrift store to donate what doesn't sell. For instance on the clothes most items go a quarter apeice or fill a bag for a buck. People who live in other areas probably can selll for higher prices. I sold my old huge tv in the basement and so I am trying to reconfigure. I hope I remember to watch tonight, I'd better check the dvr and make sure it recognizes the name, what a bummer about your dvr. Some let you hook up an external hard drive to back up your shows.

  16. Ali where have you been? We miss you! Let me know if you watch the show tonight and what you think! I'm super busy with the Girl Scouts today. We are at a church wrapping presents for children in shelters. I don't know if the girls really even know how they are helping, as most are just here eating snacks and waiting for their patches lol. But this time of year is just always insane for me.

I will be back later tonight and pop-up during the show to see what everyone thinks!! So excited!

  18. #1Caregiver - we're a family of NatGeo watchers. Yes, they do things documentary style and really check facts. Only down side is that their preference can sometimes be to show behind the scenes/almost sometimes "restricted" areas for which they've received special permits to film. Sometimes when you finally get to go in person to see what they've shown, it's a little disappointing to find out, "oh, the 'public' isn't allowed access that area, sorry." My kids (and me too) have been disappointed that way. Sometimes it helps to have "people" in what you're seeing to get an idea of the vastness or smallness to put it into context. JMO, in that it can be easier to remember if you can associate it with the people.

I remember, for example, the first time I saw in person, the Royal Gorge suspension bridge in Colorado after seeing it on tv and thinking, that is a huge & long ride down that cog car to the bottom where the railroad is. JMO.

  19. Jacque - the videos come from various sources. If it's an hour show, it has to be split in segments to reduce the file sizes. I know Baby Mama will do all she can to get it up as soon as possible.

When she was on vacation, I posted for her some of the summer episodes and was relieved to just get them on her blog. They were too wide and I struggled with the sizes but atvleast people got to see them.

  20. Ali - Great to have you post. Missed you!

  21. As always ladies, I will try my best to get the episode on this site as soon as possible! I know many people rely on watching the show here and I appreciate it!

  22. Katefan01 - Hmm...don't know what to say. I know you want to see it, but I just can't advise you to go against your Dad's wishes. Although we might not understand his reasons, hopefully he will change his mind, remember he is your Dad.

  23. Baby Mama - Before I forget, there are some great new scrap booking pages at Disney's Family Fun.

  24. Katefan01 - I agree with Linda. A red flag went up when you said that about your dad. The episode will be up here in a couple of days and will not conflict with the hockey game.

  28. Okay, I am sure the haters are watching and will wonder why Steve went with Kate, Mady and Cara to land on the glaciers. However, I choose to believe that Steve and his wife both went on this trip. : )

    ReplyDelete
  29. Fascinated - They had to get from where they were staying to where the small plane was. They'd already had the paparazzi at that point. I guess they could have leafy Steve at the airport at that point, but why would they?

  30. Tonight was my absolute favorite Kate Plus 8. Having spent a week in Alaska myself, and remembering the joy it brought to my family, this was amazing to watch. The kids had an absolute blast, and they were so lucky to experience such an amazing trip.

I will get into more later, but no one can sit there and say that the kids were not lucky to have this memory on film to last a lifetime.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anyone who thinks those kids are bratty doesn't know kids, they are soo well behaved. I thought that was soo awesome for Kate to take the older girls to see the glaciers. I am thankful that she had Steve with her especially since she didn't have a spouse or relative. I wish people could see it okay for peopple of the opposite sex to have a close friendship or familylike relationship. I really think she sees him more as a father figure or uncle figure than boyfriend and that should be okay. I wonder if the kids watched tonight.

  32. I will be on tomorrow to share after I watch it. i always watch Monday night with my girls since it cuts into bedtime.

  33. I did watch last night show, Loved it as i thought...
Please TLC keep her shows on.

  34. Good morning all. Chilly low thirties here this morning but warming up to mid 60s by afternoon. While not a cold temp for many across this world, it's chilly for us.
    ---
CMo3 - You and your kids will enjoy this episode. In the interview portions, which were, of course shot after they'd returned home, the kids were still jumping, laughing, and smiling ear to ear in relating what they'd seen and done. I think this was an awesome trip for them that they will treasure for a lifetime.

  35. I was delighted with the fellow traveller's comments that Baby Mama posted. Particularly about not seeing the Gs at baggage claim! WTG for TLC and Steve! After seeing the horrendous chasing of celebrities by paparazzi in airports, I was so glad that this group was spared the possible security nightmare. The paparazzi chase of celebs in airports resulted in changes in laws in California. How much better it was to handle it by not getting caught in an area that has limited egress. It took a whole day for people (and paparazzi) to know the Gs were in Alaska. After the pap shots started appearing, you also saw more security with the Gs. WTG!

  36. What a happy, healthy, bright & beautiful bunch of children, and did they ever show how much they love their mommy!

We all woke Sun AM with snocky heads and the general feel bads. I used the neti pot but the girls can't handle that. LindaO was it you who suggested an OTC treatment that works well? If so what was it?

  37. One thing I am really liking about the new episodes is that she isn't even mentioning Jon, That way nothing is taken out of context or ragged on. Her focus is on the kids. I'd love to see her take them on a Disney Cruise, may never happen because of competing networks. Maybe even Mall of America. Today, I feel sooo lazy, but I've got to get out into the shed and get it swept up and reorganized. It is the the only nice day weatherwise all this week. Thursday we get that white stuff that falls on the ground.

  40. Okay. I'm irked again with the junk abounding on the net. The latest is Eric Roberts posting and Tweeting that he's taking up the cause against Kate. According to him, from junk emailed to him, he knows now that there's documentation of Kate abusing her kids. Say what???

He also talks about it being wrong to have small kids photos etc. being viewed around the world.

Oh really?? Then WTH is up with you Eric Roberts?? On your official Eric Roberts website, Mr. Roberts, you promote the Natural Child Project. AND, you request photos of children for a new YouTube project stating "Do you have a special photo of your baby or toddler? We'd like to post an except from the audiobook edition...on YouTube and want to create a collage of photos of babies and young children for the background. It even gives a link for you to send your photos. WHY is it wrong for the Gosselins, and apparently okay for a project that you support.

    WTH are you thinking???

    ReplyDelete
  41. I hope somebody calls him out in their TWEETS to him!!!

  42. Seriously??? This from a person who has a kid in show business?? He always seems to jump on the bandwagon of things. Plus on his twitter feed he retweeted Perez Hilton. Need I say more? I used to read Perez when he first started out but realized after awhile that he makes crap up when there is no news. Also, who is he to throw stones? Didn't I read somewhere that he was going to be on or has already been on Celebrity Rehab? It's not just about Kate, I would be angry if I saw him put that on twitter about anyone. It's not right and if he's going to say it he needs to show the proof. Not just throw around words. I'm sure people thought he was a pretty sucky parent when he was a drug addict, plus agin, didn't he let his daughter do movies when she was little? Ugh.

Linda, I already tweeted him. Everyone feel free to make this guy feel even more like crap for looking so publically like a tool again. And just when things were looking up for him.. Ohh well.

The trolls are reading here again in force. Not really getting why their panites are in a bunch. The episode last night was fantastic. I put it up this morning for all who missed it. Those that watch it here, I would love to know what you think :)

  45. Eric Robers Is A Complete Loser. You know Julia is so embarassed right now she's hiding in her house and not returning his calls because of this mess:

"Move over Jon, Kate Gosselin has a new media foe: Eric Roberts. The actor recently opened up about his recent Twitter posting in which he called the reality star mom “a child abuser.”

“I know she's fading from the news, but hopefully someone's still got their eye on the wellbeing[sic] of her kids. Kate Gosselin is a child abuser,” Roberts wrote on November 1.

“Thank goodness there is footage of Gosselin hitting her kids, and apparently feeling fine about it. I say thank goodness, because behind closed doors makes it that much tougher to stop,” Roberts explained. While he doesn’t think reality television is “inherently bad” (and recently went on reality television himself for VH1’s Celebrity Rehab), he thinks the Gosselin children’s state of life is an issue. “They have an awful mother, and a father who doesn't stop her.”

Roberts also addressed the report that the eight kids split 15% of Kate’s alleged $250,000 per episode salary. “The number of kids Kate and Jon have are the reason Kate and John have money,” he said. “It would be awful if financial stress was added to those kids' problems. But the money should be divided 10 ways.”

While he believes parents should be careful about the contracts their children are entered into regarding the entertainment industry, Roberts admits he has been largely hands off in terms of his daughter Emma’s career -- which she began at the age of nine. “Her mother and her manager handle her career,” he revealed.

Though his daughter began working at a tender age, now Roberts believes “kids are not fully willing participants in anything during childhood.”

However, he disagrees with Jon Gosselin’s remark about making the kids stop filming and believes Jon is taking up the wrong issue. “I think Jon is being unrealistic. How is that family going to live?” Roberts added.

“The kids could have a great time doing the show if their mom wasn't a cruel horror who is clearly repeating generational abuse. Jon's got his eye on the wrong ball. The kids, however, should not be forced to do anything.”
His advice for Kate? “Get out of denial and receive anger management... Next time she feels herself lifting a hand to harm one of her children, she should instead make a call to her local 12-step program.” He also believes that Jon should make a legal contract that states that Kate loses something financially every time she hits the kids.“She's playing the role of good mom. When she stops playing the role as it's written, she should be fired.”

  49. I surely love this blog Debora! and even more love kate plus 8, I just watch baby mama and you posted really fast, but I thought it was very short the FTA should have made a special one hour at least I thought I watched too fast ... although it was I loved the beautiful part of the whales (though I do not know how to speak English so when I watch Kate plus 8 I have to deduct what they are talking lol) ... for what you know they did this trip in July, so the children is larger than this today? as they grew so fast? (Triste!) lol
Baby mama thanks again for posting fast and I liked this episode muto, TLC please continue with the show!

  51. Just watched the show again! Thanks Baby Mama for having it up so quickly. It entertained my Tweener son in the doctors office. (Thank you doctors for meeting us after hours! My son is okay now; doubled over in pain just as we sat down to dinner. They think it was just a gastric attack. We always have some drama here, lol.)

He was watching it on my handheld. The whales part. Where Kate is making the whale noises to pretend to attract the whales. The doctor even laughed and said I think that Kate Gosselin is a pretty savvy mom! He told us that their family watches it together also.

  52. I'll have to admit that I didn't even know who Eric Roberts was until I read the comments on here and googled him. So if his intent is to get publicity, I guess it worked. But I would like to ask him, if he has documentation that Kate is a child abuser, did he immediately notify the local authorities? After all, child abuse is not to be taken lightly, right? Unless his "documentation" is nothing more than a photo of Kate spanking a child. I may not necessarily agree that spanking is the best form of disipline, but I always understood there to be a big difference between spanking and child abuse.

  53. ShirleyNoName~ Honestly I just posted it because I am sick and tired of DListers commenting on celebrities just to get their names out there. (His sister is A-List and he is currently promoting his new gig in Celebrity Rehab) If we do a little research on this guy we know that he has given his family grief for years including problems with drugs. Commenting on such a huge personality like Kate Gosselin is bound to be picked up everywhere and commented on. IMO it just made him look bad.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Child abuse is a pretty strong accusation. I don't know what that state laws are where Kate lives but she could lose custody of the kids while the authorities investigate her.

I cannot even imagine someone would make a statement like that about someone they do not even know. Obviously, he is transferring the anger he has toward his own ex onto Kate. I am assuming he has an ex because he said his daughter's mother makes all the filming decisions. I am also assuming that there is good reason he doesn't have decisional authority over his daughter if he is crazy enough to be attacking someone he doesn't even know.

    What a strange world.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Unfortunately Baby Mama, he now looks like a god amongst the haters. Sadly, the people following him are doing more harm than good for the Gosselin kids.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I have to repost this. Someone sent me this from another blog. It's all the excuses the haters used as to why they watched last night. LIARS! Just own it people please why must you make up excuses why you watched?? This is from only one site...

"I had no intention of watching but my husband stumbled on the show"

"I was unlucky enough to catch a couple of scenes of this joke show as we clicked through watching other shows"

"I turned the episode on because I wanted to see Alaska- and I was curious.'

"Before people throw tomatoes: Yes, I watched; yes, my children were in the room"

"I had no intention of watching but my husband stumbled on the show and, because it was about Alaska, he watched some of it"

    WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAV???

    ReplyDelete
  57. OMG, why even bother with excuses why you watched? That is beyond ridiculous, my 4yo could come up with a better excuse. If you want to waste your time watching a show, so you can pick apart a woman you don't like...why not just own it?

"I had no intention of watching but my husband stumbled on the show and, because it was about Alaska, he watched some of it"

My favorite is the my husband made me do it excuse...I find it especially funny because I usually miss shows because my husband is watching something else on the den t.v.(some sport) & I don't always feel like going down to the familyroom t.v. that's the kids space, I'd have to tidy before I could relax and I'd miss the show anyway.
Instead of t.v. I usually read or blog to relax.

  58. Oh ya GWOP..I seriously forgot about them. No joke!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thank you Momsby. Just own it. Both fans & non-fans make up the viewers for this show. More of them watched and didn't fess up, we all know that. I personally loved the show last night.

I was the first to say that this show has been on for a long time and sometimes the episodes are a tad boring. But wasn't that the point, to see the everyday life of this family? How many years have they all said "stick a fork in her, she's done?" GWOP who at one point had over 700 comments a week is barely there now & it's only because they talk about me and the other fan sites. The fans are still here, and those that were the nastiest are thankfully starting to wind down....Do we see a light at the end of the tunnel for those that are sick of being attacked because we support Kate Gosselin??

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yes the show won't go on forever. I hope that it continues on for another year. I think because they were the first famous family from TLC people would really enjoy seeing another year of these kids. I just hope that they can get Kate to venture onto something else and this Twist of Kate comes into fruition.

Hey it worked for Frasier right? Kate needs a good successful spinoff to make the haters let go of the rope and give up. Cause you know the only reason they are still hanging on is to enjoy the wrap party for Kate Plus 8.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I don't think even the kids being off t.v. forever, will get rid of some of the really nasty ones. The kids were not filmed for how long? There were still attacks on the Gosselins & the blogger fans and site owners...some of the intense interest may fade, but there will probably always be some.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I just couldn't understand why people would attack sites like mine and others just because it's a fan site. Where does posting someone's personal infomation our outing someone on another site become ok? Because we support Kate Gosselin? Why sit there and spend all day attacking someone personally while you sit there with a fake name feeling you are protected and someone post information about your real life become ok? I was just wondering.

I wouldn't give idiots like Lisa Knight and the others the satisfaction of promoting their brand of hate. However I do enjoy seeing them talk to themselves for the past few weeks. Showing me that people have finally had enough of the cyberbulling, and have moved on to their "real lives".

BabyMama...you do realize that Frasier was a sitcom, don't you? Frasier is a fictional character. Kate and her children are real. They aren't fictional characters on a sitcom.

  64. My opinion is, frankly I don't give a toot what they say about me (I'll get to that below.)
I get irked an take action when they come after my clients.
I get beyond livid when they come after my kids.

    1. Talk about me. I don't care if you call me stupid. That's opinion. Just like hind ends, everybody has one. Of course I don't know everything about anything, duh. The point is, I only have to be smart enough to know where to go to get the experts.
    2. Coming after my clients isn't wise. That puts more folks on my side of the fence.
    3. Coming after my kids. Not smart. It makes me relentless in taking action. It makes my aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, neighbors, parishioners, etc. relentless. When you come from a large family...you get the idea even if "they" don't.

Some have thought it would drive wedges in my family. I think it will make us stronger. Personally, I use negative experiences as a teaching tool. Don't blindly go by gossip; instead, seek the source. Don't seek to hurt others in retaliation; fight the battle legally and honorably.

  69. Carol said all Kate did was complain about everything and didn't show any gratitude.

Are the speakers on these people's TV distorted?

Kate said many times what a fantastic opportunity this was and how lucky they were.

Fix your TV speakers or take the cotton out of your ears and listen again.

Sorry for sounding off, BM, but the idiotsy just gets beyond belief sometimes.

  71. Good Morning...
Woke up to a thick coating of frost this a.m....but it's sunny, not snowing so I'll take it.

I find this time of year so hard to dress my 4yo for school. Snowsuits? Hats, Mitts, Boots? Only to have it get warm in the afternoon!

We've ALL got colds now, but the girls are on the mend. Only the baby still has that scary chest rattle, I have to keep an eye on.

Mr.M of course is the "sickest" of the bunch. "Poor" little guy bought out the pharmacy & still feels crummy. He was away & working during the worst of mine..so of course I have no idea how terrible he feels*insert eyerolls*.

It's a good thing he's cute, kind and an awsome dad...or I could lose patience. Fingers crossed he feels better soon, for all our sakes.

  72. Ziggy..
If you do it let me know! I'll help LOL. Kate shows appreciation & comments often on the opportunities they have been given.

It seems like some people feel she needs to write personal thank you cards in her own blood to be satisfied. Or Maybe she should hire the Good Year Blimp at SuperBowl.

Carol , making up scenes that never happened is making you look like a moron . The only time anyone says anything remotely close to be quiet was when she was whale calling and then after it worked they took it back. So get your facts before you want to bash our girl Kate next time ...Because making up lies isn't a good strategy. Have a nice day:)

  77. Carol, if you have something productive to add to a fan site I am all for it. But if your going back and forth between us and 15 minutes spewing hate.. why exactly are you here?

And FYI, I don't understand why a blog would say they don't attack other blogs, then allow posts up by people that are attacking me. A Bit hypocritical no?

  78. Hater stalking is getting worse and worse. When does it go to far?? And where has any of the fans gone as crazy and done things that these stalker haters are doing???

    "BerksPa said... FYI:
Saw Kate (again) this morning as I driving back from taking the hubby to work.

    Here's the story:
Came of the highway on my exit (we've moved so now I have a different route to get home) and saw the big Blue van heading to the 'bus stop'. It looked like the nanny was driving, so I figured I'd just see if it was just to see if the jellus haters or the sheeple were right about who takes the kids to the bus.
I parked a ways away in the parking lot but close enough to observe and saw a short blonde woman, with her hair up in bun, sweatshirt, etc. NO paparazzi...and it looked like the 'look-a-like' nanny.
Satisfied, I headed back on my route home, and noticed that the van was in the other lane so I looked over and that's when I saw that it was Kate not the nanny who brought the kids to school.

So here's what I learned this morning:
Kate looks like crap in the morning (just like every other mom early in the morning dropping her kids off to the bus) especially when there is no planned paparazzi photo session.

I was impressed she actually did the driving/dropping off herself. Rumors are that the nannies do it all. We all saw her sleep in and let Jon do the morning routine before the big divorce.

Other families seemed to be waiting in their cars with their students until the kids were on the bus. (not sure why, could have been a coincidence)

There are no p-people following her anywhere, no one bugging her. So she does live a pretty private life (or people just choose to ignore her)

Two sightings in two days - amazing. So, I hope this clarifies a couple of the arguments on both sides.

Oh...and I was going to say in my last (Target) post...that Kate is Skinny! She's a board with HUGE boobs. No waist at all. I'm impressed at her thinness, but I don't really think she's that attractive in person. However, she was dressed pretty appropriately on Monday with NO cleavage, just a tight grey sweater.
    Have a great Tuesday.

  82. I've had to step away for a couple of days and calm myself down. Didn't want to set a bad example for our young fans on here.

First of all I am levid with disgust over this latest attack on Kate! How dare he...this Eric...the known drug addict and womanizer...open his mouth to say such a thing about Kate!!!!

This is a very serious accusation...not one to be taken litely by a mother of 8 struggling to give her kids the best life possible! I'd like to take Eric out to the woodshed and do what we do in the south with him...and also plant a kick "where the sun don't shine" up his behind!!

Oh, poor Kate. I cannot imagine how this must hurt her. Eric, you idiot, watch the Alaska show and see for yourself what a wonderful, caring, protective, loving mother Kate Gosselin is!!!

And watch and see how happy, and excited the Gosselin kids were to be sharing that experience with their mommy! See them giggle...see them laugh...see them look with adoration at their mommy as she calls the whales and they come!

By God...I pray for Kate every day and hope these people looking for attention and money off Kate's back get their just do very soon!

Believe it or not...I've actually calmed down some. You would not have liked me yesterday!

  83. Chelsea Handler took him to task last night. She made fun of him. (Granted she doesn't like Kate or Jon either) but she called him out on national tv last night. It was pretty funny.

I loved this episode. The kids had a blast and you could tell. The boys were hilarious on the couch. And please don't get mad at me but Kate's screaming did get on my nerves a little when I was watching. It was a little over the top but, hey, she was excited! LOL It was so cute when she called the whales and they came. the boys were shocked...so funny.

Mu daughter's favorite part was the para-sailors. She was laughing when Kate said: Thanks for not dying in front of my kids! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  84. CMO3--I totally agree with your comments. I loved the episode, but Kate's shrieking also got on my nerves a little. However, I also think that might have alot to do with the fact that she was probably mic'ed and the kids weren't, so her voice is going to come out alot louder in comparison with theirs. I'm also guessing that taking into account the wind, waves and engine noise, she might not realize how loud she was coming across. Again, just a guess on my part. Maybe LindaO has some expertise on this? In any event, I think it's clear that this was an amazing experience for all of them.

  85. I liked the postcard effects also. I thought that was a cute touch.

firedup - would you send me an email, please. I've looked at all area pharmacies, etc. and I can't find vit. B12 lolipops.

CMo3 - My kids thought the screeching was hilariously funny. Each to his own. There's hang gliding in NC in western part of state at Grandfather mountain, and on the coast with outer banks at the huge sand dune at Jockey Ridge. In my 20s I was determined to do the mountain leap. Like those guys though, I did the run, got close the edge panicked and sat down &thought WTH was I thinking! I still tell the kids "Dont look!" 'cause I'm convinced the gliders will jump and die in front of them. They think my reaction is funny and say when they are 18 they're doing it. Okay but tell me afterwards and not before, please, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  86. ShirleyNN - yes she is mic'ed and it will always come out louder than rest of group. When the kids voices don't carry, they just crawl the text so you know what they are saying. Sound levels could be modulated in editing, but I'm guessing it's more dramatic to leave it loud. They had both individual personal mic on her and boom mic's aimed at the group so double whammy. But they've always done it that way. More drama to say she's yelling, I guess.

  87. Linda O...the sucker type are hard to find lately...I got them locally, but now they have been out for a while.

Here are some that you suck on or dissolve under the tongue...taste good as well.

Look for the Vit. B-12 subliminal tabs(hope I spelled that right

  90. Amazing how within a family there can be one member you admire a lot and one who leaves you sorely disappointed with them. (Julia Roberts:yea; Eric Roberts:nay...Kate:yea; Kevin:nay) I'll go see any movie with Julia... I wouldn't waste my time seeing Eric perform, and that was before his latest foot-in-mouth round. I haven't given up hope for Jon G, don't hold out much hope at all for Eric R ever getting clean from drugs long enough to pick up the pieces of his life.

  91. Usually by now my Christmas shopping is finished pretty much and ready to start wrapping. This year...gulp...what happened to this year and how is it speeding by so fast? Okay, new resolution. Sit down tomorrow, order online and get going!!! well, maybe this weekend. Please tell me ladies, that you haven't finished! How about we vote to postpone?... Don't guess that will work either. I looked at the calendar and major funk setting in. I haven't even finished those bushels of apples. I finally gave up, put them in baskets, tied on ribbons and let the kids deliver them with me to all the neighbors. The guilt of having them sit there was growing too big. Sigh!

  94. I get soo sick of people spewing garbage about Kate abusing her kids, or other similar stories. The people who spew such garbage have no clue what child abuse is and what a real problem it is. Child abuse isn't not being a perfect parent, isn't saying the wrong thing sometimes, isn't spanking and by the way I would expect any parent that chooses to spank, to do it because they believe it is the right thing for that particular circumstance, and while they don't like it, they don't regret it. Child abuse is not yelling at your kids, hurting their feelings sometimes, being part of a tv show, leaving them with a nanny, firing the nanny, yelling at their father, or being a grouch sometimes. Child abuse is beating your kids for no reason to the point that if you come near them, they back away afraid to be hit, or exploiting them sexually, it's throwing a child across the room hard enough to break a bone and then not seeking medical care, or being soo drunk and high that you don't notice your kids playing with loaded guns. An abused child doesn't know where their next meal is coming from or if they might get locked in a closet for talking too loud when dad has a headache and how long they well be locked up.
When people in the media cry child abuse on parents like Kate, they dilute the subject to the peril of kids who really are abused.
Linda, I haven't even started christmas shopping, although a lot of my people will be getting money or gift cards. I used to do a lot of shopping ahead when the kids were younger and had more predictable tastes, now, if I was to buy something in September they would be onto something else by Christmas. I just wish I would find what I found a couple of years ago at Costco, they had 5 $20 Starbrucks gift cards for $79 which we gave a few and kept a couple for use during the year, haven't seen it since.

  95. Finally saw the new show in it's entirety. It's Kate's enthusiasim that I love-and sometimes that translates into her shouting or laughing loudly. She's experiencing all these new places/things for the first time right along with her children and it's wonderful to see their reactions. She's teaching them to appreciate these new "wonders" and I love to see their faces. The puppies were so precious and the "whale show" was incredible! I'm so glad they all got to see that.

As for Eric Roberts--what on earth gives you the right to spread rumore/lies about another human being!!! Get a life before it's too late.

Linda, I'm working on the Christmas gifts--oh my, it gets harder every year to know what to get the kids. Last year we had our little grandson mark things in the Discovery Channel catalog that he really liked without him knowing we would order some of them for his Christmas gifts. Our kids are going to a Green Bay Packer game the day after Christmas, so we are getting them things related to the team - including warm clothing. :)

  96. Linda O- thanks for explaining the mic on Kate. The shrieking has always driven my crazy, but now that puts it into perspective. I also have to laugh when she gets more excited than the kids. for example, she wanted to hold the puppies and she practically pushed the kids out of the way to get to them. I am totally like that.

  97. Really, fascinated? You'd push your kids out of the way to hold puppies? I'd push my kids out of the way only to keep them from danger. I hope you were exaggerating.

YIKES, & we are celebrating early Christmas with my siblings & mom on Dec.4.

My sister & I have made a pact no toys this year. Our kids have to many!! I was going to take my nephews for a night in Toronto & tickets to Disney Toy Story on Ice.

It's not going to work because they will be at Disney that week. Any suggestions for 3 boys ages 2,4,& 8?

  99. LOL..the shrieking gets to me too! However, I'm guilty of it when I'm excited also..I just don't have a mic I can blame.

My sister's husband will be working a 24hr shift during Christmasday. She was considering trying to make it a day early(ala the Gosselins) My mom nixed it because at 4&8 it would just not be possible. She did it when they were younger before they were in school though!
