Us Weekly Stirs The Pot With Cheating Rumors, Jon Gosselin Defends His Dogs, New Sextuplets Show

I used to be a huge fan of US Weekly, but after the ridiculous "Mom To Monster" headline, that was it for me. This week they are coming out with pictures of Jon with alleged woman Deanna. What angered me about this week wasn't even those pictures, but what they claim inside: how he spent Valentine's Day buying shots for girls, TLC's staged "romantic" getaway that got canceled last minute because of Jon's affair, and Jon's appalling treatment of a babysitter. I find this type of reporting to be just sickening, vile and hurtful.

I had 2 phone interviews and several e-mail exchanges a few weeks back with Rebecca Bienstock from US Weekly Magazine. She contacted right when the mess hit via e-mail. She was, as she claimed, looking to have a positive and supportive article come out about the Gosselins and their struggle to work on their marriage. I was on the phone with Rebecca for quite a while, talking about my meetings with Kate and information about the family, that lead me to continue this new chapter of my fan site. She promised me that this information would be in the upcoming article. Well being naive, I spoke open and honestly about my sadness for this entire situation and my continued loyal support of Kate Gosselin as well as other personal information. And now for weeks straight, article after article has been more nasty, more snarky in tone, and more lies spread just to sell magazines. "Completely made up" sources to go with articles, and adding people that don't exists to make the stories sound better. Following up myself with a article that stated a Gymboree employee said "Kate was mean & horrible", turned out to be a complete and utter lie. I know this because I know who the store manager is in the store that Kate shops in. And for the record PAID for her purchases. I received another e-mail from Rebecca yesterday. I basically told her to have a nice day.

Now the point in me discussing this is to prove a point..Not EVERYTHING you read is true. And even when they say Susie Q saw Kate being nasty, you don't know if it's really true, only hearsay. And while I must stress again that US Weekly does NOT pay for interviews, they DO pay and DID pay Deanna's brother several thousand dollars for his video and for photos. That is fact. Take it for what it's worth.

Jon Gosselin Defends Himself Against Animal Curelty Alligations

There are some seriously sick individuals out there that look to stir up trouble anyway they can. When Jon spoke about his dogs and how well they interact with the kids, it only ONCE AGAIN took a few phone calls to the media to twist it around...

"In a recent interview with People magazine, Gosselin apparently intended to sing the praises of the German shepherds, Shoka and Nala, by saying that they put up with a lot from the eight Gosselin children (8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets). "Those kids beat them up, climb on them, pull their tails, bite at them, drag them around and everything you can imagine not to do to an animal, they've done," Gosselin told the magazine." From LA Times.com..they say:

It wasn't long before the Humane Society of Berks County, Pa., where the Gosselins live, received about a dozen complaints from animal activists around the country, prompting Gosselin to release a statement Friday to the organization about the care of his animals.

"I'd like to set the record straight," he said. "We understand the responsibilities of being good dog owners. Whenever my kids are with Shoka and Nala, everyone is carefully supervised to ensure that no one -- dog or child -- is injured. Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them, and treat them with the respect and love that they deserve."

Karel I. Minor, executive director of the Humane Society of Berks County, told the Reading Eagle that his group had looked into the complaints, but found "no credible reason to believe in way that there is cruelty going on." Shoka and Nala were both properly licensed, Minor said, and a Gosselin family representative had agreed to forward the dogs' vaccination records to the agency.

New Sextuplets Show Tonight..Bad Timing??

Calling themselves and their new show on tonight the "Not Jon & Kate" (yeah, of course not)

Bryan and Jenny Masche have watched as the marriage of Jon and Kate Gosselin has fallen apart on television, and they vow it won't happen to them. The Masches, along with their six kids, are the focus of WE TV's new series "Raising Sextuplets," and they're well-aware of the media-feeding frenzy that has befallen another TV family with multiples, the Gosselins.

And they're using it to their advantage. Jenny Masche told the Daily News: "Bryan says that it doesn't matter because we're a different family, but as a mom, I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, that's scary. How can we protect our family and do this and have fun without anything negative happening?' I think we're both wise enough to learn from those mistakes [of the Gosselins], instead of thinking, 'Well, that would never happen to us.' Read More HERE

  1. I forgot to add in all my frustration that the Gosselins are on American Chopper Tonight. I have to work tonight but I'm taping it! Also I did put up a new appearance schedule, so if you hear of anything, please let me know.

  2. thanks so much baby mama for reposting kate's speaking engagements:)

  3. The idea that Jon is fooling around with Deanna kind of falls apart when they show screenshots from security cameras of their visit to a restaurant and bystanders claim they were being 'intimate' yet there's not one screen capture of this. The camera doesn't lie: the people do! US magazine is trash.

  4. I didn't know you had met with Kate one on one!! How lucky! When did that happen!

  5. I don't buy into US weekly's claims about Jon's cheating.....I also think that Jason Hummel was in it ONLY for the money.
Thanks for the update on appearances.

  6. US Weekly & other trash rags can be held liable for libel &/or slander but they shrewdly know how to avoid that. Even then, as long as gullible people continue to buy into those lies and implications, they'll do their best to keep churning it up. Too bad there aren't enough media outlets brave enough to counter those claims.

  7. I think US magazine is a tabloid. It's not that I believe everything they print is a lie. I just don't think all that they print is true.
And how can you tell the difference? You really can't.
As for the dog quote, when I read that in People I could not believe Jon was stupid enough to say that... Even if it was just an exaggeration. I knew he would regret saying that. I personally don't think those dogs are abused.
The kids probably play a little rough but not in a bad way.

  8. I sense sarcasm in Taylor's post.

It's very easy to tune out kids who have a habit of whining, valid or not, when you're distracted with things going on around you. I'm sure all us moms have had a lapse like that sometime in their child's lifetime. But they survive and turn out ok. Parents are not always picture perfect but it doesn't mean that we're horrible child abusers or even negligent, neither.

Besides, Kate must be commended for having shown an extreme amount of love & patience with Maddie in other situations even though I've have a hard time with a child like that.

  9. This whole thing makes me so sad. All I can continue to do is pray for them that they will find their way back to God and each other. Those kids are so precious and I hate that all this negative stuff is happening around them.

  10. Peggy... Amen.

I always try to say a little prayer for them whenever I can and esp. when I see their show or anything about them.

Keep up the faith. As difficult as it has been for them, there is still always hope. <><

  12. That wasn't Deanna in the surveillance, that was Haily Glassman. Apparently he has moved on. They walked in separately, ate and left separately, in fact, Jon walks back in the door and goes out the back. Nothing to hide there!

  13. Gosh, BabyMama - do spill the beans and details on your meetings with Kate. I had no idea that you met her and I'm now so jealous! I obviously missed the times you bogged about it. How exciting!!! I'd love to know what you thought of her, was she friendly, did she talk about the kids, etc? Knowing you met her makes me so much more determined to do the same even if it's just at a book-signing.
    Thanks so much!

  14. Mrs Ref, I wonder if you realize how idiotic you sound knowing all these details about people you obviously have distain for.

  15. I hate Us Weekly, they have become as trashy as National Enquirer and Star. They seem devoted to putting Jon&/or Kate on the covers each week with vicious headings to draw people in and purchase their lies. They always claim they have proof that Jon did this and this with this person and Kate did that and that with that person and to the kids and blahblahblah.

As for Deanna's brother, he makes me sick. He is VERY fame-hungry and seems totally relaxed about spewing out filth about this marriage and seems totally fine with helping the tabloids trash this family.

As for that video of Kate refusing Mady water, to me it's not that big of a deal IN MY OPINION. I cannot speak for anyone else but myself on that topic. I've seen worse from mothers is all I can say.

I 100% agree with you. Like I said, I've seen worse from mothers, plus that happened back in JANUARY, I'm sure Mady has probably forgotten that water event.

  17. Kate is a SAINT when it comes to Maddy. My sister's temperament is EXACTLY like Maddy's (everyone thinks so except my sister, of course LOL). My mom has lost her temper with her on more then one occasion and so have I and my brother. The fact that the other 7 kids don't freak out at Maddy at all is a miracle, and is thanks to the superb parenting of Kate and Jon.

  18. US Weekly and many other gossip magazines are often attacking celebrities for real or imagined faux-pas. I don't see why it should be any different for kate, she of her 100 episode tv show.

  19. Well here you go J&K fans...posted during the American Choppers episode on the Gosselin official twitter page.

GosselinFamily: An answer for everyone: Jon and I do not see a divorce in the future. Every marriage has its ups and downs, ours just happens to be public.

Good to hear they are working on things. On either TMZ or People.com they had talked about rumors of Jon and Kate being out together alone twice since Kate returned from SC. Sounds like they are either working on it or are attempting to put on a good face.

  20. Watched the American chopper episode. It was good. I had to laugh at both J&K for the shots they took at each other. Things dont seem to be any better between them thats for sure. The episode was good, but they are going to pretty much show the same thing on next week's J&K +8.

  21. I watched Waterkate carefully and what we don't know is what happened before the clip. Did Kate tell the kids to wait until after the interview so they won't spill water on themselves? That is possible because when Kate took the drink Mady said that she was lucky. Maybe Mady had been going on and on about the water before we saw the clip. Kate was reaching for the water to give to Mady when she had to stop because the interview was going on. If it were me, I would've been tempted to say, "For the love of Pete, enough about the water. You'll get some after the interview...sheesh!" I would say that there is a very fine line between hydrating the kids at the right time so's not to have a potty parade going on during an interview. However, I would not have taken a drink myself...or would I...don't know.

  22. I am interested to see if the new episdoe this week will be exactly the same, or if we will see something new. Why would they show us the same thing twice? I know a lot of us normally may not watch American Chopper (lol) I'm wondering if I should put up a separate post for it or just wait until Monday's new episdoe. I don't know if you noticed, but the mother's Day episode is coming up. And I'm sure everyone is interested in knowing what they will do for their anniversary.......

I actually really liked today's show. Jon was so quiet and timid, I was surprised. Kate looked like she really loved the scooter. It was really nice to see they guys make the effort to spend time with the kids!

  23. Favorite part of the Chopper episode was when Kate and Mikey were at the spa and when Mikey asked if he would like a magazine he said, "US Weekly." Kate thought that was really funny.

  25. Wow Lilybet was gone before I could say goodbye.... fast work Mama! Thanks!

oh the water continues.... I really can't believe this. I really think the critics have set themselves up for a big fall when they actually look in the mirror.

First of all..... Mady is not a Baby! She is almost 9 people. How many times has she been on a sofa preparing for an interview? At this age she should know when to play the high maintenance card and when not to. Why do we have such low expectations on our children moms? I understand that since I am 51 I come from a different generation and now kids have actual rights, but please. Let's not enable a child that was clearly acting out. I would have done the exact same thing intentionally then pulled her aside later and explained. I still believe that Kate had tuned her out and what mom of a frequent complainer does not do that....

woo hoo this got me fired up didn't it???? lol

  26. I'm sure there are far more cases of animal abuse then theirs. I am sick and tired of all the hate towards Jon and Kate. The media can't be happy for a couple that is actually making it with 8 kids.. I think it's time to target someone else..this is getting old.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I often wonder if I have at times expressed feelings about this family that perhaps, I should have bitten my tongue. Your expressions about how media can lie, has always been a known, however it's so easy to forget some times.

One good thing I suppose is that by time everybody is done reporting them for child abuse, animal abuse and cheating... heck, not much else to attack them for... I only hope that when the dust finally settles, Jon & Kate find their way back to what they know of one another minus all the muck... and all the while recognizing who with in their private circle deserved their friendship and loyalty all along and those who blew it.

I can't believe people actually take things as far as saying the dogs are abused. Good grief. Anyone with half a brain could watch the show and know that those children are well monitored and abuse to child or pet is void.

So glad I ventured across this blog. I love it!

  28. See we all know how Kate is. If people say that all she does is for the cameras, then why if she knew she was being filmed act that way? And don't tell me she didn't know the film was rolling. We all saw how horrible Mady was and I know that once even my old child tried to pull that one. Mady acted out because she knew she was on camera and her mother couldn't reprimand her like most of us would have.

So to me, I highly DOUBT that Kate would withhold water knowing Mady would once again pitch a fit that would be embarrassing. And with the way that A: haters call foul on the dogs and try to lodge a complaint. B: mysterious person tips off media that an investigation is being initiated into the show...would it make sense that C: Someone edits a tape to make it appear that Kate is neglecting her child in order to cause more drama?

    I call C.

  30. Sue, I agree with you that many kids may not like to do an interview. But this is not something they do all the time. And sometimes kids have to do MANY things they don't want to do. And they need to listen to their parents and do them. This was an interview, not working in a farm for 6 hours. People make a big deal out of this because they dislike Kate. Not because they feel the kids are being forced to do something they don't want to do. To make this case, you would have to judge every parent in America.

We as parents have the right to raise our kids how we see fit. And even though they are not acting and just living their lives, they still may have to do things to help their parents. Just like everyone else. Staying well behaved for a 15 minute interview should be a given. IMO

  31. I dont' normally watch American Chopper but I of course did knowing who else was included in the episode. I thought it was great. It was sad to hear Jon talk about and seem not very happy being a stay at home dad and wanting to get away so much. I did think the us weekly thing with Mikey was very funny. I bet she needed a good laugh. She just seems like a strong woman and I think that the American Chopper guys liked that about her. Hopefully Jon can appreciate that the way they did. Also, I do give credit to Jon b/c he really has done more caring and nurturing to his kids than a lot of dads are willing to do. I think he deserves a lot of credit for that. God bless him. :)

  33. That's a really good question. I would like to know myself. After the fiasco of people thinking they had actual MySpace and Facebook pages, I do wonder if this is a fake. Seriously, I wish they would have someone update their website. Kate did actually post on the TLC site again about her day at the beach with the kids. Who knew she would be blogging there!

  34. Sue....
How do you know what the Gosselin kids want? Are you one of the kids writing under a fake name? Please don't speak about what the children want and think. I have to believe that J and K are the only ones to really know what the kids want. And I still believe that both J and K would end this if the kids were at risk or expressed that they wanted this to end.

on the west coast and still having fun watching J clear the woods and K interacting with Paul Sr.
    great episode!

  35. 3KMOM -- I was just going to post my comments about the American Chopper episode, but you took the words right out of my mouth haha! It was really sad to hear Jon constantly saying how he would rather stay away from the kids/his family and be in Orange County instead.

I REALLY hope that the Twitter page for the Gosselins is real, and their message about there being no divorce is true -- I never feel this involved in with any "celebrity" person's life, and I've tried to not care, but I just can't help it!

But the thing is they were doing numerous interviews that day for differnt stations. I just don't think kids whether Dakota Fanning (only young actress I can think of today:)) Should have to sit through HOURS of this. In this case it's not even children who are "actors" they are on a show - that they did not CHOOSE to be on.

In general kids today are a bit more disrespectful. I know how I was raised. When the parents are talking you politely interrupt no tantrums etc. I AGREE with that. My point is my parents never made me sit for hours saying the same thing OVER AND OVER....I probably would of been just like Mady :) that is just tiresome. I know even going to church it's a long time for kids to JUST SIT!! Growing up for me we did it ...nowadays parents bring snacks, drinks and toys/coloring books/games to entertain the kids. HUGE issue with that. If you can't keep your kids disciplined for 1 hour that is bad. But I understood we were in the Church of God and we paid our respect. These kids are not in church not school it's their "free" time and they are being made to sit for hours to help line the pockets are their parents (and the money will be their's someday) But anyways...I have issues with the tape but I agree that a child should know how to act and be respectful around adults. In this situation it's just a camera as they were not LIVE anywhere. For me as a kid I would of been Like Holy Cow I am on tv...these kids a camera means nothing so of course they are still going to be "themselves.

Hope that makes sense. It's a bit rambling HAHA

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sue, I have to disagree with the whole "lining the pockets" comment. They are making money for the family as a whole. If that was your own family would you make a comment like that? If my kids were working for me on my farm and TLC aired video footage, since when to I have to justify to anyone whether that money went to me or in a trust fund for my kids? Since when, because I made them work, would I now need to tell the world that my kids MUST be paid because as a mother MADE them work? Neither Jon nor Kate need to justify their actions regarding their own children. We all saw that episode and they were NOT working for hours. You saw them get right back on that bus. There were only 2 15 minute interviews that day if I remember....

Terri~ I was thinking the same thing! Did TLC splice the footage to make that sound bad?

Gosselinfan1~ I will find the episode and post it if you want.

  40. Ok I never really watch the chopper show but I think that they have some new fans =)
The guys were awesome, playing with the kids. Having fun, being kind and polite. AND MIKEY oh my ... he is AWESOME, He was so nice to Kate and you could tell that they were actually having fun and it is nice to see a mom relax and have a fun and peaceful moment. I don't care what people say ALL mothers deserve moments like that.
Another thought was Jon should have shown Kate how to ride the scooter, it would have been a good bonding moment.
I liked the show better than monday nights show.

  41. Question please...
how do we know how many interviews the kids were exposed to the day this interview was filmed?

I am a pretty big J&K+8 addicto and I don't get these facts(?). I would love to hear where these conclusions are coming from....

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh for goodness sake.... This water thing is completely absurd! You have no idea what happened before or after this extremely short clip. I watched a couple of verisons (I'm getting as nuts as they are LOL) and don't see the horror. If you love drama, you can take the event to a completely different level. They weren't working - they were sitting - they had no lines for the TV interview. They weren't dripping in sweat and near exhaustion. Mady was being Mady and Kate is excellent with handling her challenging moments. She doesn't respond to the whinning - she tunes it out. Kate took a sip before she had to speak on TV and then what seemed habit she capped the bottle and put it on the floor. Kate reached for the bottle a few seconds later to give her a damn drink but the interview was starting. Big deal... I'm telling you they will make mountains out of mole hills!
If you thought she was a terrible mother in any of the previous "gates", then the jury is in for you. It's over. Do you really need to hunt and search for more? If you do feel the need to continue to look for any more dirt or respond dramatically to new examples of someone with whom you disagree or despise, then helloooooooo, YOU are the one with the problem. It's as simple as "click" gone.

  43. I am happy I found this site. I am a new fan to the show, and hate the tabloids for blowing this thing out of proportion. When did Kate start dressing better(looking hot!), compared to a year or 2 ago? In one episode she even states she has no style, and has Jon pick out clothes for her. I wish them the best, because they are great parents, and I love the kids and want a sixth season!!!!

  44. I am new to this show, and love it. When did Kate start dressing better(looking hot!)? I watched a rerun for the first time, and she said she had no style, and was having Jon pick out clothes for her at the mall. I wish the tabloids would stop blowing things out of proportion, and let these good parents raise their kids. I understand Jon's boredom at home, especially with all of the help they added this season, so I don't think it is a big deal if he is seen at a bar having a couple of beers.

  45. Terri: I posted about this after I saw the preview clips they were showing of Jon's words. I also thought he said "female friends" but I think if you listen closely he actually says, "I have few male friends...as we all know."

Which, again, I didn't get the whole making a joke out of it and laughing about it. That's what confuses me about this episode. So many times J&K made snide comments about each other, like it's not that important or all a big joke, after the extreme emotion from the big bday party which was filmed, what...just a week earlier than last nights OCC? I don't get it. I think what bothers me most, is that whatever is going on, is, as they have said, "caught on tape", documenting their lives...FOR THEIR KIDS TO SEE SOMEDAY. Can you imagine having your huge 5th bday celebration (the best birthday ever, by Collin :) ) captured forever along w/ all the drama and words said by J&K?

I so don't agree w/ playing this out on their show for their kids to look back on.

I am hoping and praying that what was posted on twitter is true.

  46. And, Happy Anniversary to Jon and Kate. I very much hope that they will be together today and celebrate their 8 precious children and how much they have gotten through in their 10 years together.

    ReplyDelete
  47. BabyMama- I totally agree with the comment about the only reason why people make such a big deal over things is because they hate Kate.

Honestly, she is damned if she does and she is damned if she doesn't. I would love to see all these people who blog and comment about Kate's imperfections as a mother, wife, woman and person to see how many things we can find wrong with their parenting skills, and how they dress. Its all just so petty and so immature. I know she puts herself out there for everyone to see and everyone is entitled to their opinion...but come on, this is like a bunch of 13 year old girls in middle school. All the hate sites are all about how much they hate Kate. Most of the comments have nothing to do with the children (unless its something that Kate did to them) or the show itself. I know there are people out there that feel that the kids are being exploited (though I disagree) and I can understand why they would advocate for the children's concern. But most of the comments have absolutely NOTHING to do with that.

Any way I missed last nights episode of American Chopper b/c I was teaching. I hope you will post it soon :)

    Have a Happy Friday!!!

    Is today J&K anniversary?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Terri -- I think that the comment Jon made was something like "Hangin' out with the guys was fun, because I have few male friends -- as we all know." I could be wrong since it was said fast, but that's what some of the other posters were saying it was (according to the preview commercials), so I listened hard for it during the actual episode last night, and that's what I thought he said as well.

GosselinFan1 -- If you aren't able to get the American Chopper episode online, it will be re-airing on Monday night (7:30-9) before the new episode of J&K+8

  51. I was just looking at the US Weekly website, just to see what they were alleging, and I saw "photos of Jon and Deanna." Two of the photos show them (along with another guy) sitting in what is supposed to be Jon and Kate's backyard. The pictures shows Jon (with Shoka or Nala) and the other guy sitting under a white tent, while Deanna is either laying on the grass or standing. After the American Chopper episode (in which they use the white tent twice), plus the fact that the dog is there, I would assume it is also Jon and Kate's backyard. Which then leads me to wonder--how did US Weekly get VERY up-close pictures of their backyard?? Last I knew there was a gate at the front. So this leads me to assume that either, a) someone from the crew or a friend that was also there (not shown) had to have taken the pictures, or b) the US Weekly "reporter" hiked miles through the woods and trespassed on Jon and Kate's property. Too bad they can't bring criminal charges against whoever hiked through the woods and trespassed on their property (if option b is true).

  53. Thanks - I am glad he said few male instead of female. Now I wish we could make sense of the "black widow" and the "let him go" comments. It appears J has gotten his voice recently and is taking his fair share of the shots at K. He isn't acting like a victom but actually trying to use their relationship as a chance to get a laugh and some pity. any thoughts?

  55. Deanna's brother was looking for a way to sell out because he needed the money to pay off all his fines from his Felony Convictions. He is a low life piece of trash. I do believe Jon was at their house, but I think him and Jason (? I think) were friends first. IMO! Because if you look back at the picture of Jon and his car that came out, the man standing next to him looks alot like the brother. Deanna supposedly lives with her brother, so yes, I am sure they met. I am not at all suprised that the Murder for Hire car driver for the PA Mafia is a liar looking for a buck. Yes, it is true, the court documents are posted online, right down to the inditment from the Grand Jury.

  56. i for one am not interested in the new family that is out there. i don't think they will capture the hearts of viewers like the Gosselins did. now, it feels like you just don't even know if the "real" people in the world can survive marriage. :O(

  58. Loved the American Chopper episode. As I watched, I kept thinking Jon and Kate are ok, they're hanging out. But then toward the end you hear Jon say he wanted to stay at OCC and when Kate yelled at him to put the dogs away stating that they belong in their crates. Then speaks to him like he's one of the children saying, if those dogs come back out during lunch, you're in big trouble Jon.

I really like this family but hate to see Kate treat Jon with less respect than he deserves. I was hoping he would have turned around and politely said he'd put the dogs away, but didn't needed to be spoken to like he's one of the kids. Then at the end when Jon climbed on his new bike to test it out and rides down the driveway, Paul Sr. says something like he's gonna leave and Kate says, "Let him go." It just made me sad. They still seemed angry underneath it all. I realize in timing, this episode was aired only a week or so after the party, but was hoping they were trying harder at their relationship. Maybe they are and we're just not getting it in the edited version.

I realize that they shoot hours of tape for each episode and we get a 22 minuted edited version of that footage. And TLC can air whatever they like, but it was nice to see a slightly different perspective of Jon and Kate through the American Chopper footage. They seemed calmer to me and less like the lights were on them.

  59. BabyMama, how do u know they were staying apart this week? I thought Kate got back from NC on Monday or so and that they were staying in the same house again? B/c there was that post on JJ about Jon unloading the groceries or whatever it was. Just wondering what you've heard.

  60. I'm usually a Jon and Kate defender. Even after the rumors of cheating. I just got done watching the video of Mady wanting water. I just have to wonder why Kate would expose her children to Access Hollywood in the first place?I know Mady can be dramatic and exaggerate, so I'm not sure what Kate did was SO horrible. If it were me, I'd just give her a da*n drink.

But, everyday, I feel less and less for Kate. She has a choice to end all of this. IMO, she needs to end the show and end the interviews. Same with Jon. Hell, just write a book about their life and marriage after they got the show on TLC. It would be a hit! She could still do speaking engagements and book tours. That will keep money coming in and she can be at home, most of the time, with her kids. But, for God sakes, get the cameras and papparazi's out of the kids face! PLEASE. The moment the cheating rumors were on every news outlet in the country, it should have been more about the effects all of this has had on the children, then book tours and tv appearances.

It isn't just Kate that is to blame. Jon is an immature little boy who won't man up and take responsibility. Everyone wants to blame Kate. Kate controlled Jon. Kate is mean. Bullsh*t! Jon had/has a choice and he made his.

  63. I looked at the so called "WaterKate" footage uncut...Kate did ask for all the kids to get water and was about to give Mady water when they were about to start another sat. interview. I understand why Kate didn't give it to her. You only have about 2 minutes to talk in each one and you really have to be ready to go. I think people are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

  64. I agree w/SoccerMomof3, people are really blowing the water thing out of porportion.

  65. Soccermomof3~ I couldn't post your other comment because it was too misleading. The personal conversations I have been discussing here were with me and Rebecca. Since so many of the crazies live to cut and paste my posts on hate sites to analyze them, I edited this original post. I have received to many e-mails from fans being upset with the people that try to post here.

3KMOM~ Ironically I read that when US Magazine sent it to me. Cold they be wrong? (lol)The websites (radar, justjared, usweekly, people etc.) send both my site and probably the hate sites as well advanced e-mails with their content asking us to link their articles to our sites. As you can see I normally only do People, as I feel they are the most reputable.

Tatianachick~ I do not think that this is the real Gosselin family but I am looking into it.

  66. To answer the question of whether the Gosselin's twitter page is legit - it is, or at least as legit as it can be. When you sign up, you enter your website and the official Gosselin website is listed for them, so either they're posting or someone is authorized to do it for them.

It's your choice whether to believe what people choose to write there, though. Anyone can twitter something -- accurate or not, just as people can blog or comment about something which can be accurate or not. Just as magazine articles can be accurate or not.

But, for all intents and purposes, the Gosselin twitter page is theirs.

  67. Sorry...I didn't mean it to be misleading and I am not trying to twist your words. I misunderstood what I read in your post. Sorry about that.

  68. That family looks pretty boring compared to the Gosselins anyway. Tabloids lying is nothing new yet when it's about this family people believe everything they read. Oh and doesn't Jon self proclaim to love blondes? So why are all these girls he is alleged to be cheating with brunettes? I don't believe it maybe he just has a easier time talking to women being his family situation is different and men wouldn't really understand? I don't know but it doesn't explain the out at 2 am with them part.

  69. The American Chopper episode was so good. It's funny on that show they don't seem all uptight and chaotic like on their show. Producers and editors made a difference maybe? I didn't like that they took shots at each other though. That was kind of upsetting. Did anyone see when Jon asked if Paul Sr. was on his period or something? And what also kind of made me mad was when he kept restating how he was a "stay at home dad" and he had to do this for the kids and that for the kids. I understand all that but why say that? Does he expect to be praised for what a father is SUPPOSED TO DO? No one said anything when Kate stayed home and took care of them but now because Jon has to he is trying to get pity from everyone. I like them both very much and hope they stay together for the children but they need to work something out. Jon is obvisouly not happy being home and taking care of them full time - he even said so on a past episode (funny no tabloid picked that up). But what else is he supposed to do? They will all be in school full time soon so I don't get his "problems". He gets to stay home take care of his children and get paid. Go find a job then. They are very confusing to me in regards to what they both want in life.

  70. BABY MAMA hit the nail on the head. Mady was acting out because all those people were there, and they were being filmed. She is very naughty, and I think Kate has the patience of a saint when it comes to her. I didn't see the episode because I have stopped watching. There was a clip on my glass forum today of this, all were trying to diss Kate. This is a group of women much like those that post on the troll site. I was in disbelief when MANY of them said it was stupid. Mady wasn't dehydrated, she was being naughty as only Mady can. She's had 9 years to perfect her attention getting routines.

Don't enable that child to give her what she wants, she was trying to cause disruption. Kate tuned her out to keep herself focused. Exactly what i would have done. And she took a sip because she was getting ready to start being filmed. I do believe she was going to give her a drink, but they were ready to start. I also believe if she gave a sip to Mady, the entire group would have had to have one, then it would have been mass chaos. With only a few seconds until they filmed, it would have been difficult to get them settled again. LORD, do you people hear yourselves.

I have said it once, I say it AGAIN:::: GO JON AND KATE..............get it put back together, I have faith in you, but I am not going to watch this debacle on TV and support the ratings that TLC so desperately wants.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm really sorry to say this (forgive me!), but the Masche 'tups are nowhere near as cute as the Gosselins. I don't know why, but I find every single Gosselin adorable, even pain-in-the-butt Mady.

Cuteness has a lot to do with ratings. Aside from that, I think the timing is pretty poor for their show. Hopefully they do ok, but I won't be watching that show.

  72. Somebody sent this to me from Perezhilton.com. I don't read the site, but wanted to share this:

"For the seventh consecutive week, the Gosselin family drama is being featured on the cover of Us Weekly. And there is no end in sight as sales numbers are WAY up because of the trend!

Sources revealed that the average sales of the first five Gosselin covers averaged between 900,000 and 1.1 million. That is almost 300,000 more per issue than last year for Us! If this keeps up, the sextuplets will be out of college before it dies down!"

And people thought that this would all die down........

    ReplyDelete
  73. too bad J&K aren't getting a cut of those sales. Too bad they can't sue them for a cut of the sales, after all, they are 'using' them for their stories.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I missed the incedent with Mady, but I have worked with 9-10 yr. old girls at a summer camp for 3 years and they can be down right unbearable to be around sometimes. Almost everything hey say comes out in whine. Kate should ignore her because kids that age know how to ask for things or express their feelings appropriately. Ignoring them or threatening to punishing them seems to lessen the whining at camp. So, I think Kate did the right thing if she ignored Mady.

Was it me or did Jon and Kate seem more pleasurable around each other. Yeah the hardly spoke to each other, but I didn't feel like they were giving each other the cold shoulder like they were at the birthday party. As I recall this was filmed shortly after the b-day party.

  75. Susan:

I agree that the Gosselin kids really were just so adorable, especially the girls and that made a difference.

I didn't see the entire episode of the Masche show but I saw a little more than half. I really don't know if I like it. The kids were cute but you didn't get to see their personalities much. I think the Gosselin kids' personalites is what made them even cuter.

I will say that Jon seems to be a much more involved dad than this guy. I found him quite annoying. For him to come home and argue with his wife that he just got home from work and was not going to change a diaper really pissed me off.

I liked that the mother just lets him do things his way when he's watching the kids, I know that's hard for a mother, not that I agreed with his way. lol.

And I found it really odd that the mother let the little kids all run around outside the house as she put the others in their car seat. One got pretty far away from her... good thing he didn't head toward the street.

And when she smacked that little baby's hand so hard I was shocked. It wasn't a little swat. It was a hard smack. I will not watch that show if I have to watch someone hit their child. I thought that was disgusting. He's a baby.

  76. Baby Mama:

I totally understand why the Gosseling mags are selling so much. It's an intriguing story. My sister is always on the websites that talk about celebrities, etc and I have no desire to read or comment on movie stars or pop stars, etc.

I think it's because we don't really know their personal lives like we do Jon and Kate. We got to know them as people and a family first and to care what happens to them, especially their children.

I don't buy any of the magazines but I will read stuff online to keep up to date. And then of course there is your blog...

  77. First: Happy 10th Anniversary, Jon & Kate! It's a milestone esp. considering all that your journey has achieved (and endured).

If I were J&K on their 10th anniversary in their current situation, I'd stay home and have quiet alone time together, celebrating in a low key way. Maybe that's what they did or will still do. Can you imagine the media frenzy & circus if they tried going out?

The American Chopper episode was a riot with Mikey acting like one of the kids. Although I highly doubt Kate would allow Sr. to hang around the kids for too long with his bad language.

And the twitter thing... Just because you sign up with a website doesn't mean a thing. Anyone can do that. I highly doubt the Gosselins would twitter anything. If they make any public statements it would be through a reputable party such as their official attorney, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Even tho' that twitter post may not legit, I am hoping that it is. It has been a month since the public allegations and a few weeks since this last episode, which is hopefully enough time for them to start exploring ways to handle some of their major issues in a calm, positive and private way. We do not need to see every move they make regarding this but since they lead such public lives it would be nice for us to actually see some legitimate signs of hope.

  79. I don't know if anyone saw this or not but among all the paparazzi pics that were taken yesterday of Kate at home, I *swear* one had a picture of her opening the door to a huge bouquet. She was wearing the same dress as in the ones where she's setting up the bounce house. I don't know if it was from Jon, but it was definitely something someone would send for a special occasion. Hopefully it wasn't the paps who sent it hoping to get a pic of Kate.

I secretly hope it was from Jon.

Did anyone else catch this? I only saw it on one page.

    ReplyDelete
  80. There are pictures posted on JustJared that are...not good. Kate is hanging out the top and bottom of her dress as she helps put up some kind of bouncy thing for a new episode.

I think it's rotten that tabloids would post shots like these, but I still feel like she should have been aware of how inappropriate she looked, given that she was surrounded by TLC camera people.

And Jon is nowhere to be seen.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Thanks BabyMama, keep me posted.

It seems like all the tabs and entertainment news shows are quick to say J&K didn't celebrate their 10th anniversary. How would they know?? Maybe they did something privately away from cameras, maybe they just gave each other cards, who knows but it's stupid for those reports to say 'Jon and Kate Don't Celebrate' because they really don't have 100% confirmation on that, it's just what the paps caught on their cameras.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Ohh! I found the Mady video. If she had given Mady a sip they all would have wanted one. She was NOT about to dehydrate just because she said she hadn't drank anything all ay. Kids that age exaggerate A LOT. Kate did the right thing

As for these magazines. Idon't pay any attention tot hem because of most of it is lies. I found paprazzi pics of Jon and Kate and it looks like they spent their anniversary apart. That's sad they need to work things out, but lately the have been photographed apart and talking is hard to do if one of them is always gone.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Donna Vee, I totally agree that the water clip was absurd. And, why praytell, bring back this clip anyhow? So Access Hollywood keeps this tabloid spin on the Gosselins going? There's no being mean to Mady in that clip. Kate knows her kids and their quirks and how to handle them. That's what a good mom does. Not armchair quarterbacks watching a bad replay clip. LOL.

I liked the American Chopper episode and thought that both Jon and Kate are taking in the recent tabloid frenzy pretty good. Both of them weren't taking shots at each other, but sarcasm prevailed. Jon and Kate both have great senses of sarcastic humor. The "potshots" people may have heard, were actually references to the media hoopla and rumours. That's what sarcasm is all about. They made fun it.

And with the American Chopper guys, it all really worked. The bikeboys and the Gosselins have great chemistry.

I think you're right Kayla, they were more pleasurable around each other. I also think they're on their way to working things out (if they haven't already).

Susan, I totally agree...the reason the Gosselins show is more interesting is because they have personality. And, they just "get it". Just beause the Masches have sextuplets, doesn't make a show, or make them worthy of having a show. They don't have that special something that the Gosselin kids (and parents) have. Once again, it's chemistry. What's lacking with the Masche show is chemistry, and the ability to connect with the viewer. The whole Gosselin family each have great personalities and connect well as a family and that translates. I beleive the kids are so well rounded and each have a specialness to them is because they are raised by two people who love them very much and are raising them right.

  84. Getting bact to the twitter question. I dissagree with co above. There are many lawsuits going on because people are posing as people they actually aren't. I could go on twitter right now and create one using someone elses website.... Twitter does not check the website links. I would not trust it entirely until you hear from the Gosselins that they have begun tweeting....
If they can't keep their blog up and running why would they start tweeting? I question it.

  89. US Weekly is such trash! It's a shame that people will try and ruin your image to earn some $$$$.

    ReplyDelete
  90. JenniferA~ I feel that the Masche family is trying to be very careful about not appearing to be jumping on the bandwagon, as well as say anything negative about Jon & Kate. Saying "ohh we will never be like that" is laughable. They are putting their kids on TV for the same reasons Jon & Kate did. And that's to make money and support their family.

I would be upset if they had anything negative to say, simply because it's the exact same thing Jon & Kate did. And while Jenny is all pretty, perky and happy to be new to all the attention... Give it a few years and they will probably go through the same backlash. Because mom's love to trash on TV mom's to make themselves feel superior........
