Jon Gosselin Takes Kids and Girlfriend to Ball Game: Famecrawler.com
Jon Gosselin took his girlfriend, Ellen Ross, and his eight children to a Reading Phillies game in Reading, Pennsylvania over the holiday weekend. Ross was not her hands-on self like on previous outings, instead looking alternatively bored and preoccupied with her cell phone. Hanging out with your boyfriend’s gaggle of children gets old pretty quickly, I guess!
(Below is Ellen responding to the above photo and article, do you feel she should have spoken out?)
When people get out of a marriage, they find themselves again and some people go through hell doing so. he has made major improvements. i also want to point out. i am NEVER on my phone with the kids unless its ringing and its my mom or its my family texting me . the ONLY pictures the websites put up are ones of us on our phones. how boring would it be to put up a pic of me and jon watching the kids? its boring, theres nothing to criticize (although people still would fine SOMETHING) therefore the website wont get enough hits on that article and it loses its value.. THATS why they put those pics up…… i was so upset because the ONLY time during the whole 3 hours we were there was when a family member texted me and said that someone was tweeting about us being at the game….. this way i knew it was spreading, then we can be extra careful with the kids and getting them to the van quickly when we leave. im so upset and angry EVERYTIME pics are taken of us because they ALWAYS make it look like im on my phone. in the pics of me at the bus stop with jon, and im “looking at my phone” i actually took it out of my pocket for ONE SECOND to look at the time (thats why im jsut staring at the phone) and then put it away, bc the kids bus was late, they werent even there yet. but god forbid the websites put up the pics of the kids happy to see me or smiling at me or hugging me, GOD FORBID. and as for the last comment…about him respecting the mother of his kids..
if ONLY you guys knew …….. i look at it froma neutral point of view..until certain things came out.. remember this.. kids arent stupid, they see things, they get treated certain ways and THEY TALK….. and i do see how he treated his women before. ppl that make claims of being with him, they get PAID for it. yes there was hailey, but unfortunately it was a bad choice for him, she was not the kind of person he needed in his life and it caused a lot of drama, thats in the past, we all mess up, lets move on and stop dwelling on it… his last relationshpi with morgan was just fine..just certain peopel arent meant for other people. please please please dont take sides anymore, im telling you stay neutral..eventually the truth comes out..when those kids are old enough to understand all this crap… you just wait.. the things they are going to say."
What Do the Children of Mommybloggers Have In Common With the Children of Kate Gosselin?: BlogHer.com
Where were all the child labor protection advocates back when America loved the Gosselins? Back when we couldn't wait to see the crazy antics of Jon and Kate and their eight children? Ever since they aired their dirty marriage laundry for all the world to see, the world has been a little less smitten with the Gosselins and a little more hungry to bust them for something. Kate Gosselin and the producers of the show are once again being questioned as to whether they are violating child labor laws by having the sextuplets -- all under the age of 7 and therefore not covered by the obtained labor permits -- on television.
I say "once again" because this topic seems to come round every few months. This time, a Pennsylvania representative, Thomas Murt, is pointing out that it's illegal in the state of Pennsylvania to have children under the age of 7 on television. Though, again, where was Murt during all the prior seasons if this has been in the Pennsylvania law books? If Kate Plus 8 continues (and ratings were down prior to this news), the show may only be able to film the twins. The investigation is looking into whether an illegal deal was made in order to get the (albeit inappropriate) permits. And Murt is also admitting that there may be cause for the law to be amended (wouldn't want to have those filming dollars leave the state!).
At the heart of all of this is the question of whether or not being on a reality television show constitutes work. In other words, is it actually labor to go about your life and simply have cameras around. There is no memorization involved, no skills to learn or stunts to perform. If I stick a webcam in my house and my kids stand in front of the computer, entertaining you with one of their witty bon mots, am I violating child labor laws? Or does it only matter -- in other words, is it worth protecting the kids -- if there is a large amount of money involved? The end result is the same: Kids are placed in an entertainment position with the same chance of psychological scarring from the incident (which would be "none" from reality television supporters and "will need more therapy than there are therapists in the world" from reality television protesters.)
Taking it a step further into the realm of blogging, is everyone who recites amusing stories about their children within blog posts doing essentially the same things? The lens may be a lens of words instead of a literal camera, but in the end, a life is recorded and transmitted (sometimes for entertainment; sometimes to exchange information). For those who believe it's detrimental to the mental well-being of the Gosselin children to grow up with cameras trained on them, do they believe that mommybloggers are having an equally detrimental effect on their children? And if not, is it scale? The fact that it's words instead of pictures? The fact that bloggers are not making millions of dollars annually based on the cuteness of their kids?
Taking how you feel about Kate Gosselin out of the equation, do you think children under seven should be able to be filmed for a reality show?

I really don't see how Murt questioning the work permits would really "help" his career.
ReplyDeleteSchmecky how could you not think that? The man is up for re-election. His name in the press is exactly what he needs right now. Making himself "appear" like he's saving children is perfect for the polls. I hope it backfires on him.
ReplyDeleteHaving a way to pull at the hearstrings of the voters, by making it appear that kids are "working" and getting that in the press. Could be huge for him. Or he could get egg in his face. Either way the man now is topping Google with alost 80 articles with his "inquiry" I chose this article because it clearly shows that he is doing this for show. If E!Online is correct is saything that no papers have enven been filed yet.. He took his pointless "inquiry" to the web where he could get 100 articles with his name in it..
ReplyDeleteBottom line, almost no one knew who the heck he was, and now he is spread across the US. Sick way to get his name in the press, just like that child-actor did to revive and get media for his cause.."a Minor Consideration"....
Baby Mama,
ReplyDeleteIt's possible. I know it would make me vote for him... but I would think that if anything he is going out on a limb following up on all of this.
Most likely with all the stuff going on with the economy and so many more dire issues the people of PA may feel he's wasting their tax money. Doesn't the show bring revenue to the state? Didn't it put PA on the map for a lot of people?
Sure, we follow all this stuff because we've followed Jon and Kate from the beginning so it's a big deal to us, but maybe it's not for the majority of PA people.
I really don't know. I just don't think it's gotten THAT much attention from the main stream media.
Like I said I could be wrong, but maybe it was something that was brought to his attention by some of the non-fans, many of which are not from PA and he looked into into on a whim not realizing it would go this far and now he realizes it is something he believes in and wants to see it through.
I just think that it's wrong to automatically assume someone does something to protect children on reality tv only because it benefits them in some way.
Baby Mama,
ReplyDeleteIt didn't say that he didn't file anything yet. He said he sent them "a letter." They said they haven't received it yet. Maybe it was actually "mailed" and hasn't been delivered yet. Maybe it's sitting in someone's inbox. Not receiving a letter is a lot different than someone not filing paperwork for something.
Your right, I explained myself wrong. More along the lines that the whole thing is fishy, we delt with this last year. The timing is perfect for him though. And like you said, you would vote for him based on this. So it worked.

---------------------------------------
The "child actor" runs a NON-profit foundation. His "cause" is to help children who are being exploited on tv, movies, any variety of entertainment. He isn't just about the Gosselins. Right now he is concentrating on a lot of reality programming because there are no laws to protect the children like there are for "child actors." I think that's a good thing.

Not really. I don't live in PA.
But if you lived in PA would you NOT vote for him based on this? Do you think Kate is voting for him? Jon?
Hey Baby Mama, perhaps your readers would enjoy reading the entire interview w/Ellen at our site. It should be noted that Ellen asked that all her comments be removed. She felt they were coming out wrong and she was texting from her phone.
ReplyDeleteImo, she should be given credit for trying to clarify and correcting any misunderstanding. Here's the link. http://www.imperfectwomen.com/ellen-ross-in-her-own-words/

No problem. I actually think that's what happened to Ellen at IW. I think she got into a discussion, explained some things using the wrong words or terms and was raked over the coals for it. I won't do that to you though. ;)
Oops, I forgot
ReplyDeleteotherwise known as Lily@Imperfectwomen.
I agree with Schmeckygirl, btw.
ReplyDeleteWhy the bad mouthing of Paul Peterson? He started his activism in the early 90's, and he'll continue long after the Gosselins are grown, I'm sure.
NO ONE besides people who've been following the Gosselins under a microscope (us) are aware of this story. I mentioned her name at work to get a reaction, see who knew what, if anything.
2 women had no idea who she was, one said she watched the show before Kate turned into a diva who liked skimpy outfits (LOL) and one said "isn't she the one who had 8 babies at one time".
So If you really think Murt is looking for headline grabbing "stunts" or something...I politely disagree. People have bigger fish to fry than Kate Gosselin, the world doesn't revolve around her.
I read many blogs as part of my daily blog roll, but I do enjoy this one a lot! I think because I don't understand the fascination with Kate, and it's interesting to read the opinions of those who think she's supermom.
Let me express to everyone here as always, my opinions are my own. I do not speak for anyone on this site. And I wont get into my thoughts here on that "child actor" lol. That is way too big of a can of worms to open here. But if you want to express your thoughts on my comment, just make sure you are addressing it directly to me! It doesnt bother me one bit. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnd regarding that "child actor" I stand by my comments 100% thanks.
Thanks Robin for the comment. I think Kate is a Supermom and I support her 100%. AS ALWAYS!
ReplyDeleteEveryone that tries to use her to get more fame as these 2 did is the reason why I get my fangs out. IMO!
Having a way to pull at the hearstrings of the voters, by making it appear that kids are "working"
ReplyDelete---------------------------------------
If they need work permits they are working. If they weren't really working they wouldn't need work permits.
They don't just "play" on camera. They do promos, advertisements, photo shoots, interviews, etc.
Besides, many people love their job. Many people say they have the "funnest" job in the world and they can't believe they get paid to do it. They are still working.
Baby Mama,
ReplyDeleteHave you ever looked at the www.minorcon.org website?
Dozed off, thank heavens for me, but forgot to check the new blog. Ty Baby Mama.
ReplyDeleteSchmeckyGirl - YES, I have looked at Peterson's website. I certainly do Not consider it to be a good one. SG there are good and bad people, parents, aunts, etcetc etc in the world. While I can feel sorry for Peterson I do not feel he is representative of every child actor. Certainly, Barry Williams is in just as much of a position to comment and his opinion is not at all the same.
ReplyDeleteRobin, I havea huge problem with your tone. You have cost Baby Mama readers in the past, but then that was your point, wasn't it. I suppose you, your mother, and sisters are still sharing your wine, watching and ridiculing Kate or have you found a new pastime, eh? Sorry, but I find that kinda sick. I get these email forwards of your comments at rwa. Somehow I think you fit in there better with your comfort zone. I cannot imagine, frankly, those who value their own time so little that they would spend a minute wasted where they didn't find it pleasurable. There are so many places where your position, attitude, etc are welcome and where you so often post, based on emails I get and not on direct observership, that the only reason I can find for you coming here is to cause trouble. We do not need your educational point of view and IMO I wish you'd go back to the site where you are so happy and stay there. Gosh, now you can run back there and brag how you got things stirred up. Does your mother or whomever who is pro Gosselin know how you make fun of her also.
ReplyDeleteNo SG - the point is NOT whether the Goaselin kids are working or pkaying with PA. The point is that their appearances in front of a camera are broadcast, they are required to have a permit. Second, Baby Mama, I think you explained yourself well to your average viewer. You just didn't expect every breath to be alalyzed. The point there is that SG has posted for a long time and you don't want to offend her. No problem there. Somehow iMO SG thinks she's going to educate you to swtch to her position. Just as SG is allowed to express her opinion and be a non fan of Kate's because at one time her attitude reminded SG of her mother, you are just as entitled to be a fan of Kate's for whatever your reasons are. You do not owe apologies.
ReplyDeleteI have a question? First, I really appreciate the emails f prayers and good ashes towards a speedy recovery; they are most appreciated. I know that some folks are forwarding comments of posters here who post elsehere - double attitudes in their opinions, please don't send them to me. I disagree. I don't think for the most part the attitudes are different but perhaps more politely stated here than on the sites where they state their "true" feelings. I think they are the same - continued...
ReplyDeleteContinued - Again, for the record, I don't read ROL except to read a reference. I do read People online. I don't read rwa, gwop, or any of the other hate sites. That isn't how I choose to spend my spare time. I do occasionally read Sage but because I'm not a regular I generally can't follow the conversation. I do read IW (the craft parts). I also read ZiggyFlo and KatherineDenise because they are all proKate. I only post here because this is where I started; I will continue to have Baby Mama's back. I disagree with her policy of allowing anti Kate to speak, but it is her site, she's a big girl, she makes her own rules and I respect that. So, while I empathize with your frustration of negative Kate posters, those comments would be more effective elsewhere. Oh, one more - I do read Kate's blog. :)
ReplyDeleteRe Disney - Do any of you use the childcare services at Disney for an adults only dinner out? While ther are many, our kids adore "Neverland" because they get to dress up like Wendy, Tink, and Peter Pan, and they have a wonderful time. Do others have a favorite?
ReplyDeleteAll done now. Back to sleep for me.
"I just think that it's wrong to automatically assume someone does something to protect children on reality tv only because it benefits them in some way."
ReplyDeleteBut I guess it's fine to automatically assume everything about Kate? I've read your posts on anti Kate sites, SG, and you've assumed alot about a person you don't know simpley because she reminds you of your mother.
Please don't take this harshly. I am not meaning it that way. I don't often read at the hate sites, but when I do I am amazed at your comments and why you would post there. It sends a message that you condone what the site is about - bashing another person.
I am not one of the people who think Kate is supermom. I think she's a mom, like anyone else. I, personally, don't think it's a good idea to have the kids on TV, but I would never project my parenting onto another mom. We all have to make decisions that are the best for our family, and no one can possibly know all the reasons.
Good morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteThis morning I got this great article that I wish I had seen last night. So I will be replacing that e!news article on Tom Murt since I just found out had been repeated several times elsewhere..Also the post I will be putting up is from the views of actual mothers, which is great. Please give it a read and tell me what you think..
Regarding the mommie blogs, I'm not at all familiar with them. Are they anonymous? Do people know your real name and your kids' real names and where they live, etc? Even so, it's different talking about your kids and relating stories about your family life than it is having them do it on tv. JMO.
ReplyDeleteIf those articles about Tony are true, he is quite two-faced.
ReplyDeleteJohnnie Cade,
ReplyDeleteI don't really see your comparison in reference to Murt or Petersen doing something to help kids on reality tv shows, especially because I don't see how what they are doing is benefiting them.
I don't think I automatically assume everything about Kate either. I base a lot of what I say on what I have seen her do and heard her say. Not all my reasonings are based simply on my experiences with my mother. I personally think that having a mother with a lot of her traits does give me some insight others may not have. I also don't think Kate is an exact mirror of my mother. There are differences. If you notice, there are some non-fans that had a mother nothing like her and they see things too.
As for the "hate sites" I'm not sure which ones you are referring to. I only post at one site that some may consider a hate site. I also don't think "what the site is about" is "bashing another person."
I'm not sure what you're referring to with "bashing" either. I don't condone bashing a person's physical appearance and I speak out about that if I don't agree with it. I have several times. I do agree that there are some hateful comments, and I don't like them, but I don't think that's what the site itself is about. I don't think it's possible to post at a site and agree with everything every single person says there.
As for bashing and hate sites, I think there are some Kate Fan sites that do just as much bashing and hating, in my opinion even more, than the non-Fan sites. The only difference is their bashing and hate is directed toward the non-Fans and Jodi and Kevin, Ellen, Jon, Murt and anyone else that goes up against Kate for whatever reason. Do their reasonings make it okay?
Linda,
ReplyDeleteI do not think Petersen is representative of every child actor either. I don't think that's his point. I think Ron Howard is an excellent example of a child actor that turned out exemplary. Petersen is there for those child actors that are having a hard time dealing with the issues that can arise from being a child actor, as well as those that are being exploited.
There are many states that still don't have laws pertaining to child labor in entertainment and film makers go to those states for exactly that reason. There are many children on reality tv right now that don't have permits and laws to protect them. I think it's a good thing that someone is looking out for them.

-----------------------------------------------
I didn't see Baby Mama apologize to me or anyone else, nor should she. I would never expect her to apologize for her opinions, just as I shouldn't.
I'm not really sure what you are referencing with your comments about me. Baby Mama said that that eonline article "proved" something about Murt because he didn't "file" something. I was just clarifying that that did not seem to be what actually happened. The article didn't state anything at all about filing paperwork.
You write "Just as SG is allowed to express her opinion and be a non fan of Kate's" and yet in the next post you write "I disagree with her policy of allowing anti Kate to speak, but it is her site, she's a big girl, she makes her own rules and I respect that."
You've mentioned a couple of times in the past day or so that you don't think non-fans should be allowed to post here. Are you trying to "educate her to switch her position"? Actually don't answer that because I'm pretty sure you are. ;)
I wouldn't say I'm here to "educate anyone to switch their position" as you stated I am. I actually don't think I can change anyone's mind here but I do like to share an opposing viewpoint to help others see why we do feel the way we do about Kate and about the children being filmed. I'm here to show that it's not all about "jealousy."
There is a lot of reference to those opposing viewpoints here and I personally think it's good to have someone that represents those viewpoints "in the room" to address them. Apparently so does Baby Mama.
I think Baby Mama knows that she can ask me to leave any time she wants and I won't be offended. I realize this is a Fan Site and at any point in time I might be asked to leave. However, I am still a fan of the Gosselin kids and the family as a whole (even though it's sadly no longer a whole).
I think Baby Mama realizes she has one of the only Gosselin sites that allows a respectful opposing opinion without allowing people to be attacked for it. Believe me, I've tried posting at another fan site that claimed that and it's just not possible there. It was a disaster. In my eyes it became a hate site, but just at the other end of the spectrum.
I will write more tonight.
ReplyDeleteOT: Baby Mama, do you watch Jersey Couture?
ReplyDeleteWildchild~ Not only do I watch Jersey Couture, but my mothers dress for my wedding was actually bought there! I knew about Diane & Co. way before this show. Which is fantastic by the way. The season finale is already next week. Please watch a marathon if you can on Oxygen because the show is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis is not to be confused with Jerseylicious, which us pure trash. Lol
And for the record I do not feel the kids are working. They are playing and living their lives. The do OCCASIONAL photo shoots and promos. That should NOT be lumped into working and having a job. They were forced to get permits because of nosy people and haters trying to hurt the family. That is not the same thing. Kate is their mother and should nit have to tell anyone what she dies with her families money. Again that wad forced soon then by people looking to attack Kate.
ReplyDeleteBaby Mama,
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I have been watching all along and am kind of sad it's such a short season. And I agree about Jerseylicious being pure trash!
Linda "original".
ReplyDeleteWhere do I start. You are (once again) confusing me with someone else. When I posted here a few months ago, you accused me being associated with someone named Justwondering. I AM IN NO WAY whoever you think I am, you are out of line. You apologized last time this happened, and now here you are again, telling me to take my thoughts elsewhere, to a place I don't even go in the first place??? Are you just confused or refusing to accept that I am NOT who you think I am???
My name is Robin. I post like once a month here, and I don't KNOW what rwa even IS. WHAT in the world are you thinking, being so accusatory. I am so offended right now my skin is on fire and I'm shaking.
Can I make it any clearer? My mom's name is Linda, we share this computer, I love my mom.
And to read your insulting words, saying I have somehow cost Babymama readers?!? Saying I insult my mom on other places and you have emails sent to you to prove it??? I am trying to be polite because I think you are just confused. I am not a Kate fan, not for awhile now, but I have never said anything to deserve what you are publicly accusing me of. I am honestly shocked. I feel like all Babymama's readers now think I'm some kind of troll, and I'm not. Why are you doing this to me, hopefully it just the pain meds talking, that's my hope.
One more thing Linda "original".
ReplyDeleteYou stated you had a problem with my tone. I think you're projecting some feelings you have about someone ELSE onto my post. I think my post was polite, I even mentioned how much I enjoy reading this blog.
AGAIN, I don't know what rwa is. Maybe you shouldn't care who posts their hatred on other sites, it seems to be causing trouble for you.
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteI think it was the "I agree with SchmeckyGirl" that did it. ;)
I do agree that the kids aren't technically "working." I do agree that it appears they are just playing or doing whatever it is they normally do with cameras following them around. I totally agree with that. I also agree that they do have a lot of fun. If I didn't think they were having fun I wouldn't enjoy watching the show. I also think that when they are not having fun or are miserable it is probably also what they would be experiencing without the cameras too. I really do see all that and agree.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I do think that things "appear" that way. I think we really don't know what is going on "behind the scenes."
I also feel that they are prompted to do things for the camera that they wouldn't normally do. Even prompted to say things that they wouldn't normally say. I also think the "interviews" should be considered "working" because they are definitely not something they would do without the cameras there.
Also, why is it called "working" and "supporting her family" when Kate does it? She's just being captured doing what she would normally do as a mother and homemaker even if the cameras weren't there. (I'm talking strictly about Kate Plus 8, not DWTS or anything else.)
As always, I would like to stress respect for everyone on this site. Especially Kate fans, who have been very accepting of all views here. And since I'm apparently Kates #1 fan, no attacks on her either..thanks again xoxo
ReplyDeleteCould someone please enlighten me???? I just don't understand this Kate following everyone has on this website... Trust me when I say I'm NOT LOOKING to attack or be attacked...I just don't get how it is OK to put your childrens lifes on national TV.
ReplyDeleteTo answer the question posed, I do not think children of any age not just under 7 should be filmed consistently in reality programming. These children are not acting out parts, they are acting as themselves without the security and rights as children actors. Because they act as themselves they are open to more scrutiny then child actors based on the personality shown due to editing. This scrutiny can lead to emotional problems later on. Is it really worth it to gamble with children's lives for the public's entertainment?
ReplyDeleteNone of us could know why Jon and Kate decided to keep filming once it all hit the fan. It is impossible to make decisions for other people. And, too, each family has to decide if their decisions are worth it. Yes, putting the kids on TV may be detremental. But so may growing up in daycare. If Kate has to work full time then the kids would have to be in some kind of day care. I doubt she could make enough as a nurse to afford nannies to come to the house. So, each family has to decide what is best their them. Kate knows her kids. We do not.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not their whole life. It's certain days. It by no means shows us everything. And it won't be forever.
ReplyDeleteJonnie Cade~ I agree with your post. Though I saw nothing wrong with the weekly series, there are only 5 episodes till the end of the year. Not only will it not be forever, but they are hardly still filmed now as it is, and just for specials.
ReplyDeleteThe debate on the kids being filmed as gone back & forth since the series become popular. Everyone feels their opinion is the right one. But bottom line that decision is up to the parents. I know if anyone told me what to film with my kids you would see a life size fit on this blog. So Kate continues to be the better person buy just ignoring the opinions and doing what she feels is best for her family.
Cause at the end of the day when this show is long gone and blogs are a distant memory, the woman is set financially and the kids education is paid for..And thats why I admire Kate Gosselin.
Toni~ Uhh are you aware that this is a FAN SITE? I have proudly run this blog for over 2 years. Fully in support of Kate Gosselin. I have had the pleasure of speaking to thousands of fans on the web and out when I have met Kate. I decided to see if there was a way to let others have their say on my site even though the hate sites don't allow the same courtesy.
ReplyDeleteAnd not only do I think its ok the kids are filmed, but I encourage it if you get the opportunity yourself...NEXT QUESTION! lol
Wow Linda “Original”. What the heck is going on around here? I was embarrassed for the 2 posters you yelled at for nothing more than stating polite opinions. I sure hope it’s your medication talking.
ReplyDeleteBabyMama and everyone: Have a wonderful weekend!
Hey Lori Anne where have you been? Have a great weekend too, we missed your posts here.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate everyone who is here and do not want any in-fighting. I know that it is not easy to once again attempt to allow everyone with different views to comment here. I'm going to try once again because my site is the best! haha (just roll with it.)
Either way, it stops here. No one yelled and everyone can speak their mind as long as its not attacking Kate or me and my desire for the good stuff. xoxox
Whats a hate site??? And NO I didn't no this was a Kate fan site, I get the feeling its the other way around the way you were rude to my one and only question, if anyone can speak there mind then why attack a question??? Like I stated in my one and only post im not here to attack or be attacked, I just feel its oh so sad for any child to be on national tv and cant understand how anyone feels its OK.. Why do actors take ALL precautions to protect there children from paps, they go to great lengths to protect there children (maybe they no something the rest of us don't)????
ReplyDeleteToni, the name of this blog is "Gosseline Family Fan Site". Not sure what you thought you were going to get other than a fan site.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK to feel sad for any child on TV. That's your right as an American to have an opinion and voice it. I feel bad for the kids, too. I, personally, don't feel they should be on TV ever since Jon got caught with the first woman - I forgot her name. But I don't think it's my right to tell Kate or Jon how to raise their kids. I honestly do not feel they are purposefully trying to harm their kids. I think they are making the best decisions for their family that they know how. And let's face it, no one knows their family like they do so why SHOULD anyone else be in charge? I certainly would not appreciate anyone trying to tell me what's best for my kids, esp people who do not know them.
We all have read the hate sites at one time or another. I think it can be extremely entertaining! But it can get crazy and a lot of false information is put out there as fact. If you are a person who hates seeing someone getting judged for how they live thier life then you won't like the hate sites. Here, it is a fan site. Very pro Kate. I like Kate. I think she is an amazing mother. And like all mothers, she makes mistakes, she has setbacks. And she's not perfect. But, who is?
1. As stated the name here is Gosselin FAN site. There are other sites where bashing Kate and any decisions she has made are welcomed. This is not an appropriate place to do that. I once called Robin by the name of JustWondering who despises Kate and at one point she posted that the kids would be better off if she were dead. 2. The children are Jon and Kate's and I believe the Parents know their children and circumstances and are the best people to judge their family's circumstances. 3.I do not unequivocally agree with Kate but I have heard her voice errors, write about mistakes (in reference to Jon) and I think she is human and she should be able to get on with her life. 4. Murts did not ask for a balanced forum; he did not ask TLC to speak, Jon or Kate, etc. There have been no reality children previously as well known and it is bizarre that those who have never even met them, and those who haven't seen them in well over a year know enough inside info to make decisions for them permanently. Regardless of your feelings, I am just as entitled to voice my pro Kate feelings. There should be a forum to do that. As a FAN site, this should be the place. If not, there needs to be a safe haven for those who do not hate Kate. If you do not feel the kids should be on TV, how can you justify watching them, or running from blog to blog to see them or Kate, even in the name of hate? I feel that is illogical. I was wrong and apologized to Robin for calling her the hater JustWondering. I did not apologize for feeling she had the wrong forum for disliking Kate. We do not cut and paste here or I would do that as examples. Robin discussed here sharing wine with her mom and sister and counting Kate say certain words. If you dislike her WTH would you watch her? IMO this is not the forum to talk about how wrong Kate does in each and every thing she does - there are forums for that. I realize I cannot go to hate forums and say nice things about Kate. Why would you think you can go to a Fan site and say hate things? Example, Kevin's parents do not interact with his kids, but for the same parents not to interact with Kate's kids, he says it's Kate's fault. i.e. anything negative is her fault. Kate is not perfect, she is a human with children. e.g. If you are fine with Murts IMO one-sided perspective, that is your choice! But at least allow me my choice. If you can assume every word Kate says is a lie, why am I not allowed the opposite opinion? It is a FAN site, not a hate Kate site - if that's what you need, then go there? I cannot add paragraps to split this up or it deletes - a problem with my iPhone. Baby Mama may tell me to quit posting; if so, unlike JW, I would leave. It is her blog, not mine. When she drops the FAN from the name, I will go away on my own. As long as it is FAN, I will not sanction calling Kate a liar or saying the kids are harmed from TLC. I am online when stopped in pickup line at school or sports, or my kids are asleep, or break from work, etc. You are entitled to your view, and I to mine.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I hope you are feeling a little better each day, you are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I am leaving for ten days in Tucson (YUCK HEAT) since my Grandmother will be Eighty. The good thing, is that finally one of my cousins got internet over there or I would be miserable with internet withdrawls, I also have my phone so I can keep up with all of you probably moreso than usual.
tashapork~ have a great time. And make sure you are able to chat while your there! lol
ReplyDeleteSo theres a buzz in Troll-land that just because Tony is not gushing over Kate anymore that he hates her. Just because he doesnt have time to "care" about Kate drama. Doesn't mean he hates her. The guy has never gotten far in the competition so I'm sure he's sore about that. So again lets read MORE from Evan who is still gushing about Kate.. take that haters:
Evan Lysacek on DWTS Costars: Kate’s a "Great Mom,"
Those Dancing With the Stars kids stick together.The season 10 DWTS contestants aren't exactly strangers to drama. There's the recent Jake Pavelka and Vienna Giardi he-said, she-said breakup, and, well, Kate Gosselin. Runner up Evan Lysacek stays out of it all for the most part, but he told us last night at Boulevard3's Pre-ESPY Party that he's there for his fellow contestants, especially Kate, and defended her parenting abilities both on and off camera.
"I did watch it," Evan told us about tuning in to the premiere of Kate's new solo reality show. "I actually texted her the other night while watching it. "She's such a great mom and really a tremendous person," Lysacek added. "She has such a great sense of humor."
Hmmm, looks like he wasn't the one who gave Gosselin an icy send-off last season ‘cause the Olympic medalist was quite genuine as he spoke. "I can't imagine having to father eight children," dished Espy-nominated E.L. "I don't know how she does it, but she does it with a smile on her face and looking great every moment of the day."
Evan went on to say his support doesn't stop at just Kate. "[The cast] have been keeping in touch on a daily basis. Everyone who worked on the show in production said it was the closest cast they've ever had. And we've remained very close since the show ended."

Robin - maybe you should go back and read your own posts here on May 2, May 4, and June 28th. It was KatherineDenise noting also see the posts you make elsewhere but now deny. Each time you post you take the time to remind us you are not a fan of Kate's. So why would you want to post on a Gosselin Fan site when you state yourself you are not a fan? Is it just that you don't want us who are fans to enjoy our site?
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers Tashapork. Have a good trip and return safely!
ReplyDeleteI do have a problem with Murt's one sided hearing. An objective hearing would have included invitations to TLC and others that have not blogged against Kate and/or Jon for months. And I do think there is enough anti-Gosselin sentiment in PA at this point that it is a political move. I just hope the legislature and executive branch move thoughtfully and deliberately. The ripple effect of this will be significant.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I see no problem with children on reality TV. It needs to be looked at in the bigger context of what the children's lives would be like if they weren't on TV. The Gosselin kids still would have the same parents but with more financial stress, living in a small house, going to a worse or at least less nurturing school, and with relatively little chance of having money there for college.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning All,
ReplyDeleteAnd I Agree with Schmecky Girl & Robin! There!
Now too tackle that bush that looks like Wilson the soccer ball in that Tom Hanks movie. It's driving me nuts to look at it.
Correction, after catching up on my reading, I have to say delete Robin from my previous post.
ReplyDeleteto be con't
I am wondering if the whole child exploitation hoopla is actually a child exploitation issue or an anti Gosselin issue. My concern is that I don't hear all the nastiness about other kids on tv. I agree that especially with all of the new technology, people from all sides and backgrounds need to come together and decide what standards are appropriate, but without bashing the Gosselins or even TLC because it is out there all over.
ReplyDeleteoh, wow, I need to get this laptop packed up, see you all later.
ReplyDeleteJust because I'm not a Kate fan doesn't mean I am a horrible person. I am a fan of the kids, I think they are precious.
ReplyDeleteI never tried to ruin anyone's fun or discourage anyone.
I was upset when my post from Gosselin 15 minutes was copied and pasted here. That is poor etiquette. Not to mention, I found that site a little too hateful after being there awhile. Some people just want to hate, I don't. That's why I like this site, even though I'm not a Kate fan, I don't want to spend years discussing her boobs or her hair or her wardrobe, it gets old you know?
So I like this site better. Once I realized this site DID talk about things that weren't about Disneyland (I found this site at a slow news time obviously) I really liked it. I post ONE message yesterday and get SLAMMED by Linda, who posts like 50 messages per day, and she's acussing me of talking bad about MY OWN MOTHER on some site called RWA which I have NEVER HEARD OF. Do you understand how frustrating it is, to have someone say "go back to that site you love, I am sure you're proud of the trouble you stirred up". WHAT??? I have no clue what you're talking about. You keep responding back to me for no reason, because you won't realize I AM NOT posting on "rwa" about my mother. THAT IS NOT ME. End of story. I am done.
Robin - I would certainly like to give you the benefit of the doubt. You became upset with KatherineDenise for pasting here a mean post you did at another blog. You took my words here and posted them at another site. I wouldn't call that nice either. However, people are human, allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. I think that same thought should be applied to Kate also, but that's up to you. You do not have to be a Kate lover to post here but you can't be a basher either. The comments about you, your mother, and sister playing a drinking game each time Kate made a mistake and being smashed before the first commercial, I wouldn't call nice either. You made those comments yourself on THIS blog between May 2nd and 4th - the comments are archived and you can look them up yourself. If you like the kids I'm certainly willing to accept that. As long as you don't come here to bash Kate. If you feel the need to bash Kate, kindly take those unkind comments elsewhere. We do get off topic from time to time, that is the blog owner's call. If it bores you, scroll past, skip the blog, or oh well. I'm certainly willing also to look past your comments of May 2nd where you pointed out that all of our comments were boring whereas on other blogs the posts were interesting and exciting. Obviously you have changed your mind, which you are allowed to do. :). However, should you find Baby Mama's threads or comments boring in the future, I'd suggest you use the scroll bar to skip them or go elsewhere. I'm not aware that my posts are required reading, so for heaven's sake, skip them, or, oh well!!!
ReplyDeleteGood evening everyone! I see I hsve missed alot and will try to catch up tonight. I finally got my scrapbooking mojo back after a friend on mine got excited ot come over and dust the Cricut off. Cause thats how I roll!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to get back on track a bit with this new article. Im sick of seeing Tony Dovolani's words taken out of context in literally 50 sites that picked it up. I wanted to share more of Donald Trump & his desire to get Kate on the show..
'Showbiz Tonight': Kate Gosselin on 'Celebrity Apprentice'?
In today's "Showbiz Tonight" morning meeting, we all thought we were hallucinating after Executive Producer Dave Levine revealed that Donald Trump has reportedly cast Tiger Woods’s alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, on “The Celebrity Apprentice." TMZ.com asked Uchitel if she would do the show and she reportedly said, “Absolutely.”
Oh, but wait, there’s more! I can't help but point out the other mind-blowing “Celebrity Apprentice” possibility: Controversial reality mom, Kate Gosselin, might actually be cast as well. Apparently, the mogul has already propositioned Gosselin.
“Kate would be fantastic on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and we'll see,” Trump told “Extra.” “We are talking to her.” Can you imagine what a TV train wreck that would be if Gosselin faced off against Uchitel?
http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2010/07/16/behind-the-scenes-on-showbiz-tonight-kate-gosselin-on-celebrity-apprentice/
I'mmmm BACK!! Just kidding. Due to personal issues that have changed my life I had to take a break from blogland. Going from being a stay at home Mom to having to go back to work has taken a toll. I am finally settling into a new routine and things are much better.
ReplyDeleteKate would be fantastic on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and we'll see,” Trump told “Extra.” “We are talking to her.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I for one would be excited for Kate to be on 'Celebrity Apprentice' I mean how awesome would that be for her?? Its fun to see someone like The Donald take such an intrest in her knowing she would pull in good ratings for his show. She would do awesome on tasks as well with her organizing skills, she runs a house of 8 kids, pfft this would be nothing for her, lol
Thank you for posting the video of her on Access Hollywood, I missed it. As always she is real, down to earth and totally halarious.
ITA tasha, Where were these politicians 5 years ago?? I think it has alot to do with now that she is a strong woman and is successful someone wants to bring her down just like the average Mom is jealous of her success as well. After all shes just a Mom trying to do the best she can for her children just like we are all trying for our children.
It still upsets me how they went to court and USED the Gosselin name to try to pass some law with them not even being able to defend themselves. I see this as the same. USING the Gosselin name to get votes.
I love this quote:
BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN,,, AND FOR THE SAME REASON!!
Sorry for difficult times. Big adjustment. Our prayers are with you!
ReplyDeleteKatherineDenise~ Linda and I are so happy to have you back! I missed you terribly. I know you are adjusting to new beginnings. Know that we are here every step of the way!
ReplyDeleteLinda, Thank you so much for the prayers!! You have been in my prayers as well for a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteBM, It is SOO good to be back, I have missed you all here. Thank you for the support, it truely means so much!! Things are getting back to normal around here and we are trying to make it work for the best intrest of the children. Long way to go but they are so worth it.
Going through any transition with a family must be a hard one. The story of Kate Gosselin being attacked for supporting her children is something I feel very passionalte about fighting for. I don't know how anyone can criticize a woman for working to take care of her kids. It's insulting. Just because shes on TV? Its easy to see how she has become the celebrity she is. Some people can't seem to handle that.. I think they are still hung up on the fact that she has taken the best financial opportunites given to her. She tried DWTS, and I will keep my fingers crossed for Celebrity Apprentice.
ReplyDeleteThis Summer I have gotten to hear about alot of the different things going on with my readers. Many have reluctantly gone back to work, making changes in their lives. I appricate not only KatherineDenise, but Hope, Jessica, Malach, and everyone I may have forgotten who have stopped by to say hi and still show support for my blog. I truly appreicate all the support. Up to amazing 530 followers now! Lets support the Gosselin Family and help me get to 600! xoxoxox
TonyDovolani As far as Kate's comments ! All I said is that I am busy with my own family that I don't have time to watch her TV show or any TV show ....
ReplyDeleteTony just tweeted a clarification. See how the media blows everything out of proportion. US Mag is nothing more than a rag magazine that twists and turns what is said.
Lexxi~ thank you! I see he went and clarified right AFTER I Tweeted him. I was pissed that the illiterate haters were crawling to every blog site saying Tony hated Kate. Per Tony
ReplyDelete"As far as Kate's comments ! All I said is that I am busy with my own family that I don't have time to watch her TV show or any TV show".
He's actually on his way to his first Disney Cruise. They are so great. Unfortunately my husband hated it because there was no casino on board. I really hope though that we get to go on another soon. It was nice of him to take the time and clarify that.
I'm not sure which tweet he was replying to and it doesn't matter but I had tweeted Tony much earlier right after the reports came out and I asked him to clarify what he said about Kate because the media was running with it. I wonder if he got allot of tweets asking about it. We've been an several cruises but the Disney one is one we never took. Would love to as I'm still a kid at heart. Just love cruises and that's the great way to take a vacation. Tony's kids will remember this trip for a long time and so will mommy and daddy too as I bet they are having just as much fun.
ReplyDeleteHurrah! So great to be home. Thanks for all the prayers & good thoughts. I am able to stand and walk with the walker with a goal of shucking it too. Have a lovely bustier type brace that I'll have 24/7 for @ 6 months and an overlay "starwars" type bone stimulator brace. Despite all the junk, it's progress, reduced pain, and another huge step in the road to fixing everything. Again, thanks to Mayo Clinic and the wonderful prayers of friends!
ReplyDeleteLexxi - thanks for the update on Tony's Tweet.
ReplyDeleteLinda no problem. I've been reading on this site for a few days and I found that Baby Mama and I have pretty much the same opinion on Kate and on her children so I decided I would like to comment once in awhile on here. Linda I hope you get well fast. You're lucky that the Mayo helped you and I pray they will continue to help you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better Linda! I admire your courage and strength!
ReplyDeleteLexxi~ you are so right! I had no idea that poor Tony had so many of us asking him to clarify his statements. I guess we all got very pissed that it was coming out that he was attacking Kate. They really like to cut and paste his comments all the time for their satisfaction. Some magazines out and LIE and Tony has yelled at US Magazine before about twisting his words. They are looking for new material since it's a slow Kate Gosselin news week.
ReplyDeleteI'm not glad I put that article up aboutg Evan still being such a Kate fan, lets see how they twist that one..
And by the way.. WELCOME!
Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I've been keeping up w/ reading, just been too emotionally drained to get my thoughts together to post about "Gosselin" stuff. Hopefully things will settle down and get back to somewhat normal in the next few weeks for me.
ReplyDeleteLinda I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Linda, sending positive healing energy and prayers your way.....
ReplyDeleteTig
TiggerFan, Jessica, Tasha, BabyMama, Cherier1,Lexxi, and all, thank you again very much!!!
ReplyDeleteIn the kids' photo at the top of the page, are they wearing silly bands or bracelets?
ReplyDeleteBaby Mama - Do you know when the next special will be?
ReplyDeleteStill trying to get that out of TLC. I don't see a specific date yet. If anyone found out please let me know! xoxox
ReplyDeleteJessica & Tiggerfan~ Welcome back! I missed you!
Hey. Busy weekend... Just want to say Linda I'm glad to hear you're back home and I wish you a quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteHey Schmecky welcome back! How was your weekend?
ReplyDeleteohh I thought since it's Sunday night we needed a little laugh. Typical Jon. This is permanent no?
ReplyDeleteJon Gosselin's Tattoo Spells Girlfriend's Name Wrong
"Jon Gosselin's attempt at wooing his new girlfriend may be a wasted effort. The erstwhile "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star had Ellen Ross' name in Korean tattooed on his back, but an expert says her name is spelled wrong. Last month, the father of 8 had a Korean dragon inked on his back, which supposed to symbolize his rebirth and change. He also added the names of his 8 kids with ex-wife Kate and his girlfriend Ellen's name tattooed into the design.
But Hyung-eun Min of the Korean Culture Service told Life & Style that the spelling of Ellen's name is actually the Korean spelling of the male name Aaron or Aron. The names of his kids were correct, though. Ellen was reportedly behind the tattoo's idea..."
http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7019235428#ixzz0u5StSKjC
As funny as it is that its spelled wrong I just think its really BOLD putting her name with his children's name. I just think its so disrepectful to them. Just totally takes away his love for them. If you want her name tatooed on you at least put it somewhere else NOT with your childrens...ugh Aside knowing his reputation with girls this last year its just so wrong on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteKatherineDenise - I think putting Kates name and Ellen name on his back is pretty weird. Butttt, what if he plans on getting married to Ellen? Should he erase Kate? I thought he already did that!
ReplyDeleteThank you Schmecky.
ReplyDeleteIMO although I don't much care for huge tattoos, I keep trying to remember it is HIS back. That said, putting the kids' names on was sweet if he had to put on names. I feel it is a poor idea to put on any love interest's name. So often, those interests change and the person becomes toast and just a part of past history. Perhaps even poorer an idea in Jon's case because he's shucked two different women in less than 12 months whom he's declared to be "the love of his life." (Kate & Hailey) we won't count the # of women who were passing fancys. Perhaps he could consider the new "semi permanent" tattoo ink. It doesn't wash off with soap but can be somewhat easily removed later. But then, perhaps it's because I'm both too chicken to undergo tattoo needles as well as the type to question how well a tatt would go with a particular outfit later. I don't particularly even like Kate's Pooh tattoo. I wonder what the tattoos will look like when they get old and in a nursing home?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Everyone~ I know Kate already dismissed The Celebrity Apprentice rumor on the video above, but for some reason seeing it in print makes it so FINAL..lol The article below is a fine example of how they take these interviews & make them into news articles....
ReplyDelete"Kate Gosselin has dismissed speculation that she could appear on The Celebrity Apprentice. The mother-of-eight - who was linked to the NBC competition last week - told Access Hollywood that the rumors started when she met Donald Trump at a Lady GaGa concert in New York.
"I am not [doing it] but you can see how it would get started. A picture with Donald and off and running. It's an example of yet another set of rumors," she said. "Right now I think I have enough on my plate… not thinking about it, but obviously everyone else is."
The Kate Plus 8 star also laughed off the suggestion that she has "airbrushed abs", insisting that her physique is down to "hard work" and running. These are not the first rumors that Gosselin has shot down this month. The 34-year-old has also dismissed reports that she has had botox and claims that she invested in a boob job."
http://www.digitalspy.com/ustv/s79/the-celebrity-apprentice-usa/news/a242353/gosselin-denies-apprentice-reports.html
Baby Mama - thanks a bunch for the updates on what's happening with the Gosselins. I'm amazed at how one mag/tv/etc will report a rumor and when the next reports what the first one said, the 2nd media will change it to "Magazine one has confirmed that Kate did action A." it gets funny because Media One never confirmed anything! All that Media 1 "reported" was "a source close to Kate said...". In real reporting, when you use the word"confirmed" it means that you have found another source that says the same thing so now you have two saying the same thing. While the identity of sources can be protected, it is meaningless if just one source says something. The way that should be said is "an unconfirmed source has told Media One that Kate did whatever." Of course, that truthfulness wouldn't sound nearly as scandalous, lol.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wants the brown bracelet on Joel's wrist in the photo at the top of the page. I can barely tell there is something on the wrist. Anybody have any clues? If it's a silly band, does anybody recognize which one?
ReplyDeleteMy twins want to decorate the inside of their locker with photos of twins, including Cara and Mady. Anybody seen photos they'd suggest? Yes, mine are already planning the stuff for back to school.
ReplyDeleteWhoa wait, he got Kate's name on his back too along with Ellen and the children??
ReplyDeleteI am hoping Kate just couldnt confirm yet in the video. I am sure we wont know forsure untill the new season is announced. Doesnt mean The Donald isnt thinking about having or wanting her on. I am sure there are so many things that have to go into the contract that take time to come to an agreement.
Ohhh Linda thats a cute idea to have Mady and Cara in their lockers!! First site that came to my mind was http://gosselins.sosugary.com/ although it hasnt recently been updated I am sure you can find lots of pictures of the twins there.
ReplyDeleteThe kids spent the weekend with Ellen and Jon.
ReplyDeletehttp://blogs.babble.com/famecrawler/2010/07/19/jon-gosselin-and-ellen-ross/
Linda~ I double and triple checked the photos from a few places and they all appear ot be silly bands. Which one though I am not sure.
ReplyDeleteDenise~ Thanks for a link, gonna check it out!
KatherineDenise~ So glad you are back! Don't make me hunt you down again or things could get ugly! xoxox
Thanks for the photos Denise, I wonder where the Twins are? And for the record..do the paps only take pictures of Jon with the kids or does Jon only give them a call when the kids are there?
ReplyDeleteKatherineDenise-TY for suggestion of sosugary. I'd forgotten about them.
ReplyDeleteBabyMama-wow,TYso much for checking the photo. Guess I'm going blind but I couldn't tell if they were silly Bands. I'm going to just look for a brown horse one 0r brown bear. When kids set their minds on a specific it can drive you nuts. Guess I'm lucky it's a silly band and not a brown gemstone, lol b
ReplyDeleteRe the swimsuits - it's gotten nuts. Why is it when Kate is in her own backyard in her own pool, it's captioned "Kate flaunts her bikini body." When Ellen is at an apartment pool not a word was said about her. Same thing with Kate out with the kids if one of the eight isn't smiling at the second the pap is making a photo the caption is "Are the kids happy?". If Jon and Ellen are at a ballgame and either looking off or on cellphone at the second rhe photo is snapped and none of the kids are smiling the caption ignores the lack of smiles and says "Jon &Ellen take kids to local game."
ReplyDeleteAmazing how photos with a 1/64 shutter speed or way faster get interpreted. Who could possibly know? They are kids. They are happy when with Jon and happy when with Kate.
Oh wait! I forgot - I guess they are psychic mind readers, lol
ReplyDeleteDenise - Ty for link.
ReplyDelete----
Some of the photos lately have been in publications that were unfamiliar and I never would have found them. Or, maybe it's just me.
I would be just as happy to never see another pap picture of those children again. It's IMO disgusting that they think it's ok to follow kids around & invade their private moments!
ReplyDeleteBM, hehe *raises right hand* I Promise!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with BM, I too think those are silly bands, especially the picture with Kate in the post.
Momby, If they had a law where they couldnt be photograhed on private property would be a good start, same as they arent allowed on school property. And I would even like to see children not photograghed at all. I know Jon or Kate did not want this for their children when they started the show. As Kate has said "Cant go back, can only go forward" but maybe there can be some laws put in place to protect them.
Good evening everyone! Since I have a very busy day tomorrow I wanted to make sure I rolled out some fresh smelling almond & honeysuckle paper. Be patient with the articles this time as the Gosselin news is a bit slow this week. Ellen Ross took it upon herself to do yet some more interviews. Let me know what you think on my new fresh post.
ReplyDelete
